We've been to this facility before, we love it, a very relaxing afternoon, water temperature was just right, would love to try it in January!

You can smell the pool before you see it. When you do see it the slightly yellow cloudy water added to the smell could be off-putting but open your mind and and relax. The water is beautifully warm and leaves your skin really soft afterwards. We did baulk a bit at the price which, by Bulgarian standards does seem a bit pricey but put into context it is no more expensive than we would pay to use our local municipal pool which is so full of chlorine I am certain it can't be good for us! The changing room attendant didn't look as if she could crack a smile and was no great example of great customer service but we are really pleased we made the effort to find the place and enjoyed our relaxing dip which was rather different when it started to poor with rain. One word of warning - remember to remove ALL silver jewellery before bathing because the sulphur content in the water will tarnish it in minutes (voice of experience!)

An interesting experience but overpriced. The water cures all known diseases according to the advertisements, including some that are unknown to science.

We visited the pool in November weather was nice quite a few where there and the water was hot also a smell of the minerals in the water but it was not what you would call a bad smell we found that it was best if you did not be fully in the water all the time sit on the ledge and chill or get out and cool for awhile you can have a beer to cool down if you like obviously proceeds do not go into the upkeep of the place which is a shame it is still the same as it was 20 years ago we stayed for 3 hours and then had a walk locally it is 8lv entrance fee and that is all we paid nobody checking if you had paid for bed ect all in all well worth the visit and will go again the wife is going to book into a cheap hotel for a few days later in November and go to it every day.

We decided to visit the mineral pool on our last night at the resort, I've never visited an outdoor mineral pool before and it stopped me drinking yet more cocktails!Be aware you have an entry fee plus I think you pay for loungers. We went in the evening so it was fairly quiet and we left our stuff on the side.Getting into the pool was hard as it was soo hot (there are 4 entry / exit points), I recommend you get in the shallow end side as its cooler. There are 3-4 inlets for the fresh mineral water, people stand by these but I didn't it was too hot. My father had to get out at one point as he got too hot. I would not recommend the pool for anyone with high blood pressure or any condition sensitive to heat. I do not want to sound negative but the pool stinks obviously it's the minerals but the combination of heat and smell made it uncomfortable at times. There is bars to get drinks and a small beach so if you do not enjoy the pool there is other things you can do.

I visited this pool this week and this place is not worth the entrance fee, everything in the place is with another extra fee (like the deck chair, another extra money for sunshade). Even though it was my first time in a mineral pool, i did not expect a pool in so bad shape ( i did expect some soviet feeling, but that was far worse) -the floor of the pool is out-dated (paint has came off in patches), water was full of tree leaves and some other dirt and water level was not as high as the signs suggested- 90 and 120 cm- water lever was almost 50 cm lower. Women´s mineral shower area has possibly not been renovated since the place was built, spider webs, super slippery and rusty floor, the shower taps were not working.

In two and a half years, the price for entrance has gone from 4 BGN to 10 BGN. Some money is going back into the place, to put in a turnstile at the entrance. They should have started with improving the pool itself! There are many hotels and resorts around Varna with much nicer cleaner pools and the same mineral water. If some of the profit is put into remodeling the restrooms, changing rooms, the pool, it could be a nice place and worth the 10 BGN fee. We'll see what another year brings.

The water is nice and hot, and we had a bath on December 30 so it was cold outside. But they don't have a dressing cabin or something remotly similar, and the margins of the pool are dirty.

Attitude of the staff, food quality poor, nothing as expected. When we go on vacation we do expect to have some fun. We know there are no perfect places for the money we pay but.... still expect to get better treatment than we've got. Staff yelling at us instead of talking nicely, not frendly at all. In the end when I was asking for a comment card I was told that she cannot give me one because I do not speak english.

in this resort there are at least 2 locations with mineral pool:- one is the indoor and outdoor swimming-pools at Grand Hotel Varna. Water temp. is about 30 C degrees. If you have accommodation in this hotel, you will have free access at the swimming-pool and fitness facilities. If not you will have to pay for these.- the other is at a outdoor swimming-pool close to the beach and Grand Hotel Varna. Water temp. running in the swimminh-pool is about 48 C degrees. Water temp. in the coldest area is about 33 C degrees. This mineral water has many and diversified medical recommendation. I felt its benefits on my own leg that was a little bit injured on a sky slope !!!!The fees are affordable.

On a recent trip to Varna, I wanted to go swimming or get some beach time, but that proved difficult as I was traveling alone and had no safe location to keep my valuables. My hotel in Varna (Art Hotel) was great but no pool. On a day trip to Sv. Konstantin (which you can reach with the public bus for less than 1 lev) I stumbled upon the "Mineral Pool", which was a thermal bath complex situated right along the beach. Entry was only 4 lev, but I went for the "V.I.P. Special", which included a lounge chair, chair cover, umbrella, entry to the pool, and a locker for your valuables, for only 12 lev (about $10). Since the complex is right on the beach, you can select a lounge chair on the private beach. (No swimming at that beach, though.) There is a bar and restaurant inside the complex as well. As well as a large cage of pigeons(?).The pool is fed by natural thermal springs, so that the water is warm (not a big plus in the summer!) and a bit stinky due to the various minerals. However, it is supposed to be medicinally beneficial. It's not the sparkling turquoise pool you might be looking for in the summer, but the complex is quite nice, if a bit dated, and perfect for those not staying in the huge, all-inclusive resorts. It was a nice, relaxing afternoon.I don't know if they have an official address; to find the place, go to the Sv. Konstantin and Sv. Elena monastery. From the church, go straight toward the beach, and you will pass a children's recreation area and a fish restaurant, then the mineral pool is right there near the beach.
