vratsa historical museum

This sis absolutely amazing and the guides are lovely and very knowledgeable. Thracian treasures, iron-age excavations and the history of the Bulgarian revolution all in one place. Worth a good look.

Whilst visiting Vratsa the last thing I expected was such an informative museum with such interesting exhibits, made all the better by a fantastic young lady tour guide whose knowledge was second to none and spoke such good English which left us with such a good understanding on what we had seen.Also the exhibit copies which were made from 3 D printers were fantastic, thanks for a great visit.

There is an impressive collection of Thratian artefacts and some of the exhibits are labeled in Bulgarian and English. The other exhibits are also good if not to our taste (the paintings). There is also a small geological section which isnt huge but what is there is really good. Its not an easy place to find, many people in the town dont know where it is and are not interested in it. Pity as it is a visitor attraction that is really worth visiting

Sur la grande place de la ville avec en arrière plan le grand défilé entre de hautes montagnes. Un accueil charmant, il y avait peu de monde, les dames nous ont éclairées les salles et nous ont bien informés. A voir en particulier les cornes d'Auroch trouvées dans les fouilles de Mezdra et la salle où se trouve le magnifique le trésor thrace de Rogozen , des vases en argent très travaillé. . Une des dames parlait très bien français et s'est montrée très disponible pour chercher de la documentation. Ce musée mérite une meilleure information et un détour si on est dans la région. La ville est vivante et bien équipée en commerces , banques, cafés, etc...

Dopo aver visitato il museo archeologico di Sofia, non è facile aspettarsi di trovare in una località minore un'altra notevole mostra di tesori. Invece a Vratsa è possibile. Citato dalle guide soprattutto per una collezione di oggetti di argento del V secolo a.C., questo museo offre altri motivi di attrazione: gli scheletri di un uomo e di una donna vissuti quasi 7.000 anni fa, due crani con corna di auroch - unici in Europa -, questi bovidi enormi di epoca preistorica, e una splendida corona d'oro forgiato in serto di foglie di quercia estratta da un tumulo trace. Se non bastasse, i custodi vi faranno visitare alla fine una sala speciale dove sono ospitate numerose sorprendenti riproduzioni - perfette - di opere celebri, a partire dalla maschera d'oro trace del citato museo di Sofia - ottenute grazie a stampati in 3D. Se passate da queste parti, non perdete la visita (che costa, cumulata con quella del museo etnografico, solo 6 leva).

La plupart des touristes en Bulgarie connaissent l'or des thraces exposé au Musée de Sofia. Dans la petite villede Vratsa, le musée offre un trésor en argent ainsi qu'une salle de reproductiosn d'oeuvres d'Art en papier mâché rappelant celle du château ducal de Ludwigslust dans le Mecklembourg. Un trésor à voir!
