Spent well over an hour wandering through the wreckage of broken relationships! Not all sad or harrowing, some exhibits were quite funny. A worthwhile diversion

In all these years I never had enough time to visit this place, or I was distracted by something and yesterday, finally, I finally had unlimited time on my own. …and it paid out!I spent extraordinary two hours (almost) to go through every exhibit and read every line and after I finished it I was ready for more, that's how great this place is.Seeing and reading about all these exhibits takes YOU (me in my case ;-)) back in time and wonder "what did I do wrong", because we all did at one point at time. I suppose I could donate couple of my items too. After I was done, only thing left was to "spread the word" to people that haven't heard of this fantastic museum, or never had a chance to visit. Yes, it is worth every 25 kuna of admission and some more.Come, see, enjoy!

Very unusual and very interesting. Placed in a superb part of old town. A nice place to spend 1-2 hours.

For somebody like me - introspective and sentimental who forms an unshakeable attachment in romantic relationships - this museum was the best I have ever visited, and the highlight of my entire travelling life to date. For my boyfriend, practical and good-humoured, an interesting insight into sonder. Superbly priced in a gorgeous part of the city, rising high above the rooftops and encircled by glowing pastel buildings, the view alone is worth the trip to the area. If you are here with a loved one, be sure to pop down the road afterwards and leave a love-locket. If you are here alone, recovering perhaps ? then do take your time. You will come away feeling a cathartic purge of heavy emotions, refreshed and ready to love again. Sometimes things break for a reason, other times, for no reason at all. Either way you will feel like you have gained something here.

It's great to see some new concept museum in my home town. Great place to spend an hour or so in the old part of town. There's a cafe, too.

I wish I had come here at the beginning of my time away from home, I came at the end of my trip and have to admit this made me quite melancholy. Although perhaps that just proves that it was an effective display?

I'm kind of a museum addicted, and this is just the best I've ever been to. Can't wait to come back and dedicate more time to every single story.

Original museum, with his own history and nice idea, but some of this stories are just - or unrealistic, or boring, or too sweet. There are few, really great things, but it's very easy to overlock them. Too much letters, too less emotions. But big plus for idea :)

Didn't really know what to expect, but were intrigued enough to buy a ticket as we were in the old town! This is just not broken relationships per se, but all TYPES of relationships - in the widest sense! Some will make you laugh, some will almost bring you to tears and some will make you want to turn away from. This is an eclectic collection of objects, photos, memorabilia, poems and video diaries with details - some long in detail and some short - of why relationships have broken apart. I actually found the "video diaries" absolutely absorbing and could hardly tear myself away from one in particular. The most moving account of a woman caught up in the war - I won't say any more as that would spoil things, but watching her face telling her story was just mesmerising. This seems to be a "cathartic" exercise for the people displaying their emotions and can be a very moving experience. Prepared to be shocked and amazed too though!Don't miss this tiny museum - I have never seen anything like it and it's a good way to while away an hour and have a coffee in their lovely little café attached.

Such a great museum! I left feeling nostalgic about past relationships, hopeful about new beginnings, and I had a few good belly laughs! You should definitely take the time to browse through this one :)

Relationships affect everyone and the stories here are for everyone making it a fascinating if not slightly morbid adventure into peoples private lives. Lots of stories of broken hearts, of infidelities, of sorrow but also a few silver linings and comic situations. Takes less than hour to view and the attached cafe does excellent coffee. Cheap entry too makes it accessible. Make sure you go.

very original and interesting like no one museum is! Must be seen and feel all those sad storyes all over the world!

Even if you're not a museum lover (like me), this is the one museum you'll want to see in your life!! It is a really original and thought provoking experience, I had a hundred and one different sentiments when reading the sad stories of people from all over the world, and even now, many months later, I still feel like I remember a major part of them - the museum really had an effect on me. There are also stories of broken family relationships, and of the pain that the illness and death of a dear family member brings... At times I could not help tears coming to my eyes, and I was clearly not the only one. If you're sensitive like me, don't forget to bring some tissues with you! Oh, and there is an entrance fee but it's really not expensive, it's like less than 3€ (20-25 kunas, depending on whether you're a student or not).

Different aproach, very interesting presentation, worth to visit. You can experience jelousity, uncoditional love, cheating, hate, understanding...all emotions in one place. Amazing

Went there several times since I live in Zagreb and also always send there my friends who are visiting ZG. Really interesting place!
