The correct name for this is Aspendos Amphitheatre and it is included on many of the local excursions as well as the coach tour that we were on.It is a wonderfully preserved amphitheatre with brilliant acoustics. From the top of the stairs I could clearly hear conversations on the theatre floor. This site is accessible for wheelchairs but people with mobility difficulty won't be able to reach the upper levels. You will need Turkish Lira to buy your entry ticket, but I'm not sure how much it is because our tour guide arranged all that.

It was great... If you will have time when you rae in Side, you should go there for understand the antique romans...

The ticket price was 15 TL wich is affordable. the site in it self is beautiful and you can emerge yourself in the felling of standing in the almost 2000 year old bulding i relative peach and quiet. But besides 2 boards there isn't much information wich is a little sad... a little more 'story telling' would have made the theater come alive for me.

An impressive, well preserved, Roman amphitheater.. Climbing the spectator steps to the top of the auditorium offers an impressive view of the stage below, but with no hand rails should be attempted with caution. Admission charge is low.

Impressive ruines indeed!15 TL to get in but you can stay as long as you wish. I thought it would have been nice to have piquenique with us while we looked around and just sat quietly enjoying early spring sun on the bench( I don't know if it's allowed thought).

The Amphitheater, was close to many other ruins to explore on the beach and sand dunes. There is a lot more that needs excavating yet and so you feel you are exploring untouched territory.

Really impressive site! Arriving into side you suddenly driving along a road with ruins on both sides of the street and an amazing amphitheatre infront of you! You are able to walk around lots of the ruins with boards telling you what they are. We were unable to go into the amphitheatre-don't know if that's because we are out of season, or they don't do tours anymore. However you got amazing view from around the outside of it whilst standing amongst other ruins.

Well preserved and interesting. You are not rushed and are able to take your time. The history surrounding this is worth a read.

Such a wonderfully preserved example of an amphitheatre. We even had someone sing to display the amazing acoustics!!
