It was okay. Cheap to get in bit there just isn't really anything inside. Just the same walls you saw on the outside, inside. You do get to walk on a small section of wall though which has very nice views of the coast.

Very interesting to see the old architecture. Leaflet given to you to explain what is in the fort. Reasonable entry fee.

The small museum inside offers a small inside in the place's past and the history of Cyprus. The full site is not that large, if you can arrange a tour with a guide is better, if not, there a small info book at the entrance. The best attraction: the view from the walls is nice, the history part.... not so much

Built some 800 years ago, it was meant to defend inhabitants from siege of armies coming from the sea. It has several occupants, among them the Turks and the British, that used it as prison and execution site by hanging. The gallows room are still there. The building itself was built out of thick stone blocks, one side washed by Mediterana waves. Behind it is the most beautiful beach and promenade of Larnaca, Finnikudes. The place holds some very old cannons, used to defend the town from siege. On the roof, other cannons inserted through battlements. A small museum inside with old weapons, pottery, maps and photos. It worth a visit.

As the is not a lot here to see, (many people begrudge paying the 2.50 euro entrance,) so dont actually enter the fort, ok its been restored (to a extent) but nothing special. Best thing about this area are the far reaching views, you can only stop and imagine what the area was like 100 years ago.Visited Sunday Morning 16th November.

Didn't manage to visit the place from the inside as there is hardly anything to see from the inside. The fort has been restored and looked after and is always a decent site to visit and walk around.

Beautifully restored fort. Lovely to walk around it with lots of photo opportunities. Looks like it is a favorite also for wedding pictures. Not very big with 2.50 euro entrance fee

Only 2.5 euros for an adult, doesn't take too long to get around. Nice view along the beach from the battlement. Shame it's largely restored, but there are some medieval Christian and Muslim headstones, and the execution chamber which us Brits used into the 1940s! Fairly quiet and a chance to get some shade from the sun.

Travelled from ayia nappa to have a look around, small marina, beach not too bad, water again crystal clear, why oh why can't our beaches around the uk look like this...anyway the fort ok but should be free to walk around.took a stroll down the sea front but because it was so hot turned back to return to our hire car only to find a 50 euro parking fine lol not a great day for us in larnaca..give it a go not a bad place at all.

Interesting to see the old tombstones, as well as the artifacts in the small museum. I personally loved the tower in the building next door..amazing construction.

Very small place. View to the city and costal of sea. Price only 2.5 EUR (children free of charge). Also a little museum with hall of execution.

The castle is small but well preserved. The museum is rather dated but has some interesting photographs. The old execution chmber (hanging) is a sombre experience. Nice views from the battlements.

Interesting museum and fort. Enjoy the grounds outside but don't miss going up on too for the views! Fabulous!
