This vast part of the Mytiline island has become so populer that many tourists are now at the field either for trekking or birdwatching.While you are driving through this part,you are definitely going to come close with many people doing this activity at their own.Very good large area with plenty of opportunities and chances for this kind of activities.Very much recommended to go around and try to be a part of this fantastic world.

One of the great things about Lesvos are the tracks that cut off into the hills. No good driving up them without a 4x4, but absolutely fantastic for walking and cycling along. we saw some stunning butterflies (Scarce Swallowtail); dragonflies (Violet Dropwing) and Birds (Honey Buzzard, Red Backed Shrike)

Walkers love it,plenty to see and places for picnics.Ideal opportunities for photos of birds,flowers and butterflies.

Hier fotografeerde ik mijn eerste kleurrijke bijeneters. Massa's andere vogels zijn ( best in de lente ) waar te nemen, samen met kleurrijke vlinders en libellen. Ook de schildpadden zijn van de partij.
