Walking along the waterfront you'll find pleanty of interesting sites. Many of them will remind you of Venice. Indeed the layout of the streets in the old town reminded me of the times I have spent wandering the narrow alleyways of Venice. You will see the fortress called Bourtzi on your walk. Fortification provided by the Venetians. You'll also see the obelisk erected in the Square of the Friends of Greece - honouring those who assisted the Greeks in obtaining their independence in 1821.

To have a walk on the sea front is always relaxing... but to do it in a bay observed by a Venetian Fortress in the middle of the water, and with the montains of Argolis on the other side... just a magical place

Beatiful view of the sea and the sea castle, pleasant walk by the nice restaurants and palm trees. We have been there in most quiet time of the year and felt relaxed and refreshed. Really nice and romantic small town, especially the old part, full of small shops and cafes and restaurants.We really enjoed it!

Lot of nice resaurants and bars, inviting every day for a walk and a coffee or drink. Beautiful promenade and view over the sea.

I spent two days here with some friends strolling along the waterfront and cobble-stone streets simply relaxing. For those who seek to enjoy life, sunrises and sunsets, this is a place for you to stop and wander.

Can't get lost in this place but after a while it can get boring as it's just pricey restauarants and shops. Good for a quick stretch and couple of photos.

Don't bother eating here - you won't get anything good, and it will be over-priced. Every local knows this is a place for sipping a frappe and watching people walk by. The best times to be here in summer are in the morning (before 1pm) or in the evening (after 7pm).

It was a nice walk along the paved streets. The shops are excellent and the prices reasonable. At Christmas everything is beautifully decorated! There are a lot of ice cream shops and cafes where you must drink a hot chocolate!!

If r planning to take a day trip from Athens u can choose this one.you can travel your using local transport u have get down at korinth station from there u have to hire taxi ask taxi to show korinth canal and ancient korinth it may take 100euro for taxi which can accommodate 4person

Lovely to walk down the narrow streets, seeing all the medieval architecture,people are friendly ,the frozen yogurt and ice creams are a must

I love Nafplion and the sea there. It was a lovely morning, swimming in the sea. All you need to do is go around the path walk and jump over the rocks. Very romantic and energetic.

I enjoyed once again great fish dishes at Savouras tavern, located at the city's sea front pedestrian way andexcellent Mediterranean cuisine and great drinks at 360 restaurant, located in the old city of Nafplion

We loved our quick stop in Nafplio. The streets are interesting to wander, showing strong evidence of the Venetians, but also the Turkish occupation as well. We enjoyed a stroll along the waterfront, with the blend of old (castle) and new (visiting ocean liners). It seems to be the place to buy 'worry beads'!

The promenade has lots of nice bars and cafes from where you can watch the boats and enjoy the lovely views across the bay.

The part of the promonade we liked best was the part just beyond the point, with its ladders in the sea. All told, there moust be close to a dozen ladders on the seafront along the promonade where you can swim in those crystal-clear waters; there is nothing better, and it is addictive!!
