The beach is long & sandy with beatiful clear blue water. At either end of the beach are Tervenas (the one near Petrochori is by far the best). Not crowded & it is quiet.

The beach itself is very nice - soft and clean sand, nice and crystal blue water. There are sunbeds and umbrellas and a near by bar who serves the area. The first day we visited the spot, it was very nice. The second time though, we felt cheated by the people in the bar. First day, we got 2 frappes with 2 bottles of water for 5 Eur, while on our second visit, we paid 5 Eur for the frappes only. And when we asked for the water, they charged additional 3 Eur!!!! There are no written prices anywhere. The personnel do speak nice English but they pretend not to. Apart from that bad experience, the place is worth it.

Romanos is my favorite area beach and I've been to most in the area. The beach is organized with a bar and umbrellas. We had to go to the bar to get our coffees, but no one ever asked us to pay for our umbrella. Some of the lounges have padded covers to lie on in front. The beach itself is great! The area in front of the umbrellas is great for snorkling with lots of interesting rock formations, but just to the left is a long stretch of sandy beach that does not get deep too quickly. The sand is incredibly fine and soft and the scenery with two tiny islands and a castle in the distance is very graphic!

Nice clean beach with plenty of staff from the beach bar and the restaurant was very good also. Sea was rough whilst there but had great fun playing in the surf.

A great beach- if you know what to expect. Long, with a very good quality sand , deep and clear, with amazing colour.Of course, because its Ionian there, if the wind is SW (it is for more than 50%..) it has waves, so you have to be careful and its difficult for doing kayak. But on the other hand the kite-surfers love it!!If the wind is Southern or etc, the sea is just lovely.. Calm, deep blue, amazing...

just like being in a bounty add- series of beautiful waterfalls and pools to swim in surrounded by lush vegetation butterflies dragon flies etc.Don't be put off by climb back up you will have- one of the most beautiful places ever been.watch the dirt road if in a hire car-easy to scratch it!

Our favorite beach place during our holiday. Very friendly & thoughtful service. plenty of room to chill out. excellent food, home grown veggie/herbs. Definitely worth a visit.

This beach has the ideal corn size of sand which is big enough to not stick at your body once you start to get dry. The beach is directed all west and you will experience fantastic sundowns. The water is clear and gets deep quite quick. You should be able to swim before you go in. Located nearby the Westin Resort a luxury resort.

I enjoyed my brief visit to Romanos beach, it's serene and natural and would be a great spot for a picnic. There are some restaurants not too far if you prefer to eat out. Overall it's definitely worth a quick visit if you are in the area but less a destination.

no more no less!! you are being served and pampered by the costa navarino staff at the beach!! thats the best part of the hotel!!

Brilliant and long beach of large grain sand. You can walk for ages among the dunes or by the sea. Sunsets absolutely stunning.
