After having read the reviews, i was really interested in going here. While this was not a completely non enjoyable experience, it fell a tad bit short of my expectations. Basically we get to witness a Greek wedding from the old days while partaking in a small selection of Greek appetizers and some wine. The actors were all very talented with the lady who played the grandmother doing a fantastic job. While the premise was unique and interesting i felt my interest waning after a point in time. The food while good was a bit less considering it was dinner time and the show was an hour or so long. It picked up again towards the end with the plate smashing and the dancing by the audience. Over all a good if not great experience. There was no dress code per se but would be advisable to not go in shorts. It is a wedding after all!

I checked out this attraction due to its positive reviews and I must say it was truly enjoyable! It was also moving that those whom I had correspondences with, welcomed me warmly. The price may be a bit on the higher end but you get a private live theater show which is I think not all easy, having to act, sing and dance. Also, the meal was the meal I've always wanted. Some bread, olives, spreads, cheese, wine.I guess what's more enjoyable is that YOU get to be IN the story/show. It was really a fantastic night as everyone was invited to dance together.

a representation of a really traditional greek wedding, amazing actors-actresses, really talented - very good sense of humour! someone has to go & enjoy-- a lot of dance & very good quality of service (food, wine)

This was not an event we would have chosen on our own - one of the friends we were travelling with suggested this for our group. What a surprise! We saw the Greek Wedding production and loved every minute! The theater is so unique and the actors committed to every second. We danced, we ate, we felt like we were at a Greek wedding. Absolutely fantastic!

Great show, fantastic young and very dedicated artists make you feel relax and fun for almost 2 hours. Our group of 12 people really enjoyed music, dance and food. It is not an ordinary folklore show, all guest were participating in wedding celebration. My favorite actress is the one who was playing grand mother, she sings great and is fantastic entertainer. All other artists were also brilliant, good dancers, singers, players. They made very unique show for tourists and I highly recommend it for anyone going to Santorini. Bravo for The White Door Theatro!!!

We visited the White Door Theatro on Sunday and as soon as we walked in we were very warmly greeted by a Brazilian girl who appeared to speak every language under the sun fluently (many different nationalities were attending the show that night)! The show started promptly at 8.30 and without wanting to spoil the storyline lets just say it was very entertaining and well thought out to include the audience also (you don't have to dance but it makes the evening more enjoyable if you give it a go......I did and I was rubbish!). The show lasted roughly 1 hour 45 minutesThe food is very tasty but light (mainly bread olives and cheese) so I would recommend eating something beforehand. All in all we were pleasantly surprised and had a great night at the Theatro. We'd certainly recommend it to others.

The best choice for our Friday evening in the island. Although Greek we enjoyed this aspect of traditional marriage. Thank you for the invitation!! We will try to visit you again before the end of the season!!

I have been to many Greek Nights but The White Door Theatro is by far the best I have ever taken part in! It is not just theatre it is a party! These are great actors, dancers and singers that make you feel that you are part of the wedding party. I highly recommend this dinner theatre and will go again when I return! Tip: wear your dancing shoes!!

Prior to entering the theater, you get a short story acted out that basically tells you there will be a wedding. Once you're in the theater, the wedding has apparently already taken place and you are watching the celebration. It is dancing......just dancing.....the entire thing. Okay it was fun to dance a bit and break plates, but I thought we would be seeing them act out a Greek Wedding and celebration, not just dancing. We were disappointed.

The White Door Theatre holds a Greek wedding reception and the audience is encouraged to participate as wedding guests. The evening begins with actors introducing you to the Popodopolous family members by acting out vignettes. It is entertaining and light-hearted. You are then paraded into the reception area for food, drink, song and dance. The actors are talented and entertaining. There were lots of laughs. The actors move through the crowd who are sitting at tables with checkered tablecloths under an ivy arbour. You are actually outside.I enjoyed the tasty Greek Specialties, but this is not a dinner more appetizers. I would suggest having a light dinner before or afterwards. The food was all delicious. It was nice being outside, but what I found annoying was the smoking because we don't smoke where we eat in Canada. The highlight of the evening is the dancing and breaking of plates. Everyone is given 2 plates to break which is fun. The actors help you with the dance steps and the dancers also weave amongst the crowd.I recommend this for a light evening out for a tourist in Fira. It is 1.5 hours in duration at a cost of 45 Euros.I would have given this 5 stars except there is no accommodation for those with mobility issues. There are stairs to navigate.

I love live theatre which this was. It was very unique with great acting and unique stage set. There was lots of Greek music and dancing. I was hoping for a more realistic Greek Wedding atmosphere, but it was great fun with lots of.customer participation. Food that came with the meal could have been greatly improved.

We were met at a pre determined pick up place. A good idea as the theatre would be hard to find otherwise.A fun, interactive night where we could join in and do some Greek dancing and plate smashing. The meal was simple but tasty.Would recommend this.

We did have a little problem actually find the place but we finally did of course. After purchasing our tickets we waited for them to let us all in the theatre. They started by introducing all the characters and then the program started. In order not to give it all away, just know that the audience becomes a part of the show. We had a very good time.

Interactive and entertaining. Above expectations. Very friendly staff. Greek tapas and drinks included. Don't read too much about the show in advance, not to spoil the surprise on the day.Make sure you write down the turn-by-turn directions to the venue, since it's not straightforward on how to get there.

Didn't know what to expect and initially thought we'd made a mistake as there were only five other couples booked with us but actually had a really good time. The actors/actresses worked really hard to get us involved and we had a real giggle. Food only a couple of nibbles and a small jug of wine but the show was worth it with singing and dancing which everyone joined in (good workout if you've spent too much time lazing on the beach)! Overall would recommend as something different to do.
