去这个宫殿参观了一次。尽管最近有些房间是不对外开放的,且不说参观时没有任何讲解,但宫殿内部的气氛引起参观者的共鸣。

进入科斯城堡需要6欧元的入场费,不过这6欧元每一分钱花得都是值得的。可惜的是,位于Knights Rhodes Town 的the Palace of Grand Master 就不是这样了,这里最好的观赏方式就是漫步护城河上,然后沿着城墙闲庭信步。这里保存的很好,另外你在外面就可以拍到很多很棒的照片,所以还是不错的。

这里的设施还挺好的。如果你来到这里,我建议还是去大法师骑士看看,因为他实在是太雄伟了。但是如果你进去话,里面的信息不太多,由于信息不多,你会被误导的。门票是6欧元,可以游览这个宫殿还有其他一些展览。我们走着走着迷路了,就问了一个打瞌睡的清洁工我们在哪里,她为我们指了路,就当所有人都认为他说的是正确的时候,我们发现她说的是另外一处景点,地图上标注的根本不清楚。更客气的是,两处景点都于2013年关闭了,我就奇怪,为何给游客提供没用的地图?另外,有些地方根本没有为残疾人提供便利的地方。到了宫殿之后,发现那里有个巨大的石头,你必须爬上去,大概得爬个60-70步,很是累。我必须提醒你的是,沿途都没有厕所。这个地方在1920-1930年被意大利人整修过,你当然可以在这里照相。我始终认为景点方面应该为顾客提供优势的服务,比如提高管理服务水平。

这栋楼特别大,房间超多,但布置的不是太好。有很多复杂的马赛克地板。每个人支付6欧就能进来。如果你来这里,很可能是因为你自己有意愿,但不要抱太高期望。

每一个到老城区的游客一定要去看一看,但是这里不像几街区外考古博物馆那么讲究。来这里的似乎是旅行团,匆匆看几眼,这就是我们从来没去过的原因之一。

If you're on Rhodes take some free time to visit this museum! It's very interesting to walk through this museum and please watch down on the floor because you will find many very nice mosaics! I since my last visit to this museum several years ago I can say that this museum is getting better and better and its nice to see that they care a lot about it, what I can not say about some other museums I saw !

a must see in the old town, beautiful facade. The interior is a bit bare but it reflects the history of the town

Rhodes island is the most beaudiful island in Greece. Old town is the most maintain old town in the world.palace of the Knights is one of the most beaudiful place in town.

It was a real shame due to the economy there were not enough staff to have all places open. That said it was nice to see. Not much here to inspire the kiddies.

Huge fortifications, moat, massive walls and beautifully restored buildings. 24 rooms on display show the elegance& detail of master craftsmen.

First do the obligatory Street of The Knights , the Palace of The Grand Masters and sulleymanlke . The shopping is quite good in town . Hand painted fruit bowls made us open the wallet . Took a bus ride local to Lindos and spent the day . Grand time

A magnificent castle! Now, I have a soft spot for old castles, but this is really great, perfectly conserved also inside. And huge. Architectonically beautiful. I think I made hundreds of photos, 140 kept, a few I will attach... as soon as I can make a difficult choice...

All and all it was really impressive walking around the castle. Unfortunately, the place looks like it's run down. We were there on a Sunday were there were three men standing there one of them was chain smoking in the entrance (but I guess that's part of the island charm)I expected a bit more effort to be done to present and explain about the different furniture and special statues. Maybe in a couple of years when the economy picks up they will put some money into making this place better.

The palace of the Grand Master of the Order, would have to be one of the greatest monuments erected in the Middle Ages. We were able to admire not only the palace itself, but also the impressive collections of tombstones, paintings, statuary, jewelry, books and mosaics. It is a must to see.
