(Only) if you are a good driver, take the small twisty road to Gialos Beach. For us, it was a rewarding experience. The scenery is fantastic, don’t forget your camera; as for the sand - half is dark and half is light in colour, mixed. The water is so, so beautiful, turquoise, clean and it was warm in mid-September! We almost had the place all for ourselves. We just loved this beach!

Great beach, underdeveloped compared to its peers and most importantly accessible by car. On the right side of the beach, the guy renting purple ombrellas was very king and seemed honest. Two chaise longues, one umbrella, 2 coffees, 2 waters and 1 toast for less than 10euros.

This beach was a little dissapointing. Although it has both sand(dark color, watch out, might burn durring the day!) and small stones and it does not necessary require special shoes, the water is not clear, nor clean. There were not many tourists here although it is large enogh.There are sunbeds and umbrellas to rent and they also have food and drinks.

Left Porto katsiki because it was too crowded and kinda dirty. We came here and was simply paradise! The water is the most beautiful color, the water has enough waves to play in, but not so much as to be dangerous. We used the Aussie sunbeds. For 10€ we got two sun beds, an umbrella for the day, 2 juices and 2 coffees and two bottles of water. No fee for parking. If you want to see gorgeous water, a gorgeous beach and have a great day come here! It's fantastic!

After one week i can say that this is the best beach from Lefkada from total of 8 beaches that we visited. The beach facility are under medium (sunbeds, umbrella, drinks and some snacks) but the beach is large, few tourists, easy accessible (we are a family with 2 children, 4 and 7), free parking, not commercial staff! Very friendly, especially the Michael, in the right after parking! Great guy, great service on a really great beach!

Great wide beach better than all in Lefkada. Especially enjoyed Michael from The Aussies sunbeds. Just look for the purple umbrellas on the right side for a great time.

Fantastic beach and the best service, we choose "all inclusive" with our sunbeds and got served ice cold water and juices, coffees and beer ;) also great talking to the owner! Good luck with your business!!

I prefer this beach to both Porto Katsiki and Engremni. Not being on the tourist hit list it is quieter, and the water cleaner (no floating stuff from loads of tourist boats). It is also more accessible as you can drive right to the beach. When you get to the beach turn right to The Aussies sunbeds. They have a very reasonably priced all-inclusive offer with beds, water, coffee and juice.I would give five stars to this beach if the local council provided toilet facilities. Such a shame they don't.Top tip - take beach shoes. Like most of the beaches it is pebbly and the pebbles get hot and a bit uncomfortable to walk on.

We very much liked the quiet beach of Gialos. Also because of the nice and friendly hospiltality of Micheal with his purple umbrellas.

The beach is located next to the two most popular beaches on the island, that of Ehrenberg and of Porto katsiki having the same clear waters and sandy beach as it neighbours.The advantage is that you can drive right down to the shore where you will find free parking.

a better beach for your feet as there are not that many pebbles and better water for those who are not very good swimmers as they have a bigger space to swim until the sea gets deeper.

Well is the kind of beach were you want to be all alone. Not so many children around.You have a lot of parking places. The beach is large and long.
