We went for the afternoon with our family of 4. Just did the thermal pools. Because it is spread out there is a lot to choose from. Can imagine on warmer days that you could spend hours here. We went on a chilly day so hopping from one pool to another. We didn't feel very crowded and it was school holidays, so perhaps we went at a great time. Showers and changing facilities easy and clean.

Good facilities. Different spas. Open 7 days a week. There is no massage on Sundays. Nearby hotels and restaurants. Located pretty much centrally.

The pools are quite spread out, meaning that you need to do a lot of walking in between. The layout inside is confusing and signage isn't so helpful. Indeed the saunas are nude and the place is very busy, so the overall feeling is very crowded.

Settled in Freiburg, I went with a friend to the therms on friday night. We paid 22 euros each at 6.45 pm in order to access the saunas too. We didn't bring a towel cause I thought they would furnish u one. The external pools could be ok even if the water was a bit cold. Some doubts whether it's real thermal water were raised too since too much chlorine was in the water. After the pools we tried to hit the sauna which you have to pay more to access. We sit in the sauna. This old guy came in completely naked and started shouting in german, so that we could not understood. We were only wearing a small swimsuit, since we had nothing. He went to the reception and a lady told us that in that area u should carry nothing on, be completely naked (all sauna and pools area). So we just wasted our money and we had to leave. I don't understand why they don't clearly say it when u buy tickets. It felt very bad that you have to be forced to show your nudity. For us it is been like a violence and ruined my evening, specially the old fat german guy that was really rude. Since we were foreigner I would expect even more comprehension. I don't understand what's the problem if u wear a small swimsuit since u r not damaging anyone.

Diverse thermal pools that suit for all ages (including kids). The unique one is in the music hall in where you can float above water and ear a relaxing underwater music. The place is very clean and well organized. It was great to close a rainy day at this place – it is open till quite late. The water temperature was not as warm as we expected but the filling was sufficiently comfortable. The communication with the staff was frustrating - we left with a bad feeling that they were not so tolerate to us.The place is recommended for families that want to close a fully loaded day in a relaxing place.

The facilities were wonderful. Gorgeous spa pools, changing rooms, wellness center. Communication was challenging. I mentioned I was staying across the street at the Hotel Ott, but the attendant didn't suggest that I buy the entrance ticket at the hotel, where I could have saved 30%. I needed to pay for the towel with a credit card, which she insisted I couldn't do but eventually did, with no problem. The directions to the spa, versus sauna, were not clear, and I spent 15 minutes unsuccessfully trying to open the wrong locker. It was difficult to find out what food was served because I couldn't read German. Some multilingual signs, at least in English, would be most helpful. Probably works great for German speakers. Had a great massage with Pushpa.

I had been to the spa some years ago and what a change! The spa is now a major attraction for families (with suitable areas for both kids and those who do not want the adult-natured spa that is blocked from view) but is also a great attraction for couples, singles, and others who want the full experience of the spa without the encumbrance of any clothes (swim-wear even is forbidden in the adult section). My wife and I chose the adult section and embraced the experience fully! For a wedding anniversary experience of a couple of decades, we felt like newly married again. Embrace it, or stick with the family side, but enjoy the spa experience, which you will get at Vita Classica.

THe saunas were great, lots of choices, and a nice panorama sauna on the top floor. The baths however are not that special (except one).

We visited the spa on a weekday, early evening, there were many people but it was not crowded. We rented towels and used the lockers. We didn’t use the saunas, only the pools. There are 2 outdoor pools with various streams and massage jets, my favorites were the head massage and an underwater current that carries you around the pool. Another favorite is the music hall, it’s an indoor pool, were you float and hear underwater music. It was a very relaxing experience after a busy cold day.
