very impressive museum! i was there couple time with my boyfriend, normally i don't really get into an art museum but this one is the exception! the amazing beautiful lady "Madonna" painting has caught my eyes. i was amazed with the detailed painting, the painting seems alive. for your information this painting costs 60 million euro and its owned by a rich guy Mr. Wuerth. inside the museum there are many beautiful painting that told story from the old age. its not allow to bring ur camera or other devices into the room. the customer service are also very helpful and serve you with many informations you need not only about the Johanniterkirche museum but also another mueseum you migth love to see. overall i love being back there. thank you Schwaebisch Hall!

Eine Kirche, selbst wenn sie nicht mehr als solche benutzt wird, hat einfach ein besonderes Flair! Diese Kunstwerke in einer solchen Umgebung betrachten zu dürfen ist ganz besonders. Das Highlight natürlich: die Schutzmantel Madonna von Holbein, die lange in Darmstadt beheimatet war. Nun wird sie wunderbar in einem ganz prominenten Platz in dieser Kirche präsentiert. Toll!Einzige Kritik: Die Mitarbeiter im Shop könnten etwas freundlicher sein oder die übrigen Kontakte in dieser reizenden stadt waren einfach ZU nett.

Die Präsentation der Alten Meister ist wirklich sagenhaft, die Auswahl einfach toll. kein Eintrittspreis, eine ideale Ergänzung zur Kunsthalle.

Neben der "Schutzmantelmadonna" von Hans Holbein dem Jüngeren sind noch weitere interessante Bilder alter Meister zu bewundern, so z.B. von Lukas Cranach. Die Ausstellung ist sehr professionell aufgebaut und ergiebt in diesem besonderen Ambiente einen besonderen Effekt.
