Loved this place when I lived there. Easy to get to from the U-Bahn and it was just so clean and relaxing and nice. It was fun for all there, so many pools and so much fun. Great way to unwind in the great mineral baths. I always went with friends...

Winter in Stuttgart might not be the worst in Germany but still it is not pleasant as it is usually cold and rainy. Therefore, Lauze is an excellent getaway; it is conveniently located to the U-Bahn and also has a parking area. The place itself is large and has several pools, including one outside with fountain and cascade to add to the design. The saunas are situated on two different floors ( as far as we understood) and there is a choice between Finnish and Aromatic ones with different temperature levels. It was at first strange to see people walk in and out naked and to jump naked into the cold water pool but you get used to it. You are not allowed to enter the sauna with the swimming suit on but you can cover yourself with a towel. There entrance fee is low but the whole place can get quite overcrowded at the weekends. The staff speak English and are very kind.

My husband and I go to Stuttgart at least once a year to see my Dad who lives there. We will always go at least once to the Mineralbad Leuze and have a swim and sauna visit. In recent years the prices have gone down as the Council is wanting to encourage the public to use the facilities more - great for us too! We always take the two hour bathing and sauna ticket; make sure you get out in time! One minute extra and you will be charged extra! When you go to the sauna you don't have to worry, the Germans are very bold and walk around naked all the time, you don't have to, you can always protect yourself with a towel. But you have to be barefoot inside the sauna so make sure you leave your flip flops outside the sauna ALWAYS. We would highly recommend that you take part in a "Aufguss" experience which happens approx. every 20min. It can get quite crowded within the sauna but it's worth it!! If you suffer from heart problems you should avoid it though or sit near the door so that you can get out if you feel dizzy. After the "Aufguss" you can rub yourself in ice as there is a ice machine provided! Bliss!!!Even if it is unbearable, make yourself go into the really cold water!! You feel so invigiorated for it, great experience. My husband trapped his middle finger into one of the bathroom doors - be weary of the bathroom doors! His finger was black for months afterwards.....Enjoy your bath :)

We visited with our 2 young kids, and some family friends with kids. Spent quite a lot of time in the kids pool area, which was very good. Lots to do for a good spectrum of ages. The shallow waters were great for our 6 month old to sit up in on his own, and the deeper pool with slide, "rain clouds", and various water shooting things, was great for our 3 year old. There is also sitting areas, change areas with bottle warmers, a fridge, etc. There is also a large pool which is partly inside and partly outside, which is very nice. We did not experience the "cold pool", but I was told it is about 18 degrees Celsius and is quite invigorating. The facility is quite large, but was not very busy on the Sunday that we went. I was also told that in summer, during school holidays it can get very busy, so maybe plan what day you go. We purchased a 2 hour ticket, and was just about right for our family, but with older kids or without kids you could spend an entire day there.

Took a group of school kids there. They enjoyed it but not as much as us teachers. Very nice to sit and relax and use the water jets to massage your feet and legs.

Nice modern place with loads of choice of sauna s. And good and very frequent aufgutzes. Food at counter was lousy (undermicrowaved)There is no real pool for athletic swimming. And I do find the German custom of clothed swimming unclothed sauna annoying (ie changing into and out of swimming gear all the time) but that is the way all over Germany.

Leuze has all you need to relax. Pools at various temperatures, a couple cafés, sauna and steam rooms, and the water comes from the thermal springs just below. There are some outdoor pools as well, and there is an area where you can sunbathe without clothes on. It's a good place to go also in case of bad weather, or on a cold winter day.Bring towels for the shower, a sauna towel to sit on while you're in there, swimming suit (watch out though, the sauna area is textilfrei, meaning you have to take your clothes off there), maybe a good book, flip flops and some soap (when I went, no soap was provided), since you have to wash yourself off before getting in the water. You can get massages at an extra cost, although I didn't do it myself. They don't provide facilities for manicure / pedicure or things like that. I don't have children but the children area seems also very good for the kids.

To relax and recover energy this is the place where you must visit. Fantastic saunas, naturally heated water in different pools. All year round open and especially a great place to warm up (not chill out!) on a winter's day! Do go ...

This local attraction houses a large number of swimming pools, hot tubs and saunas. The entire family can enjoy a day at the pool here. There are a number of shallow pools for younger children as well as secluded mineral pools for the adults. I can not express how large of a facility this is, there are 20 or so pools here, most of which are indoors and heated. There is also a connected sauna with some 15-20 separate sauna rooms. They do a great job of keeping some of the ritual surrounding sauna alive here. You can find saunas that seat 30-40 all the way down to smaller rooms that seat only 10-12.NOTE: This is a European sauna and clothes are not topically worn. If you are going attend the sauna I suggest taking at least two towels and finding a local that can show you the ropes so you don't accidentally break any rules.Price is very reasonable, you can purchase passes based on number of hours, days or even membership passes. I stayed for 6 hours and the cost was 9 Euro about $12. There are also place to purchase food and drink while inside.

A nice place to go for a relaxing swim. You can swim from inside to outside. There are a couple of natural mineral water pools outside also but were a tad cold for our liking. Be warned - if you head to the sauna's you have to take your towel with you and take your bathing suit OFF - sooo unexpected.

Ok I only passed by every day but as it was in the 30s the place was packed with swimmers and sunbathers. Worth a look if nothing else

What a cool place if ALL of it was open! They are redoing the indoor part and it was closed, they should have told us this on entering.STILL GREAT because: even though I didn't have small children they had a fantastic warm little children's area with slide and overhead rain shower. The outdoor pools were very clean, one was warm but the other one FREEZING but the nice thing is there are plenty of hot shower stalls and everything is spotlessly clean! There also was a "textile -free" area which I guess is for nude bathing,I didn't go there. Also the restaurant/cafe is being redone as well so take your own food and drink.

This is an ok bath, but we were a bit disappointed. The place looks bigger on their website. They also lack a big Olympic size pool for those who like to exercise. I was also disappointed that the hot part of the pool wasn't hotter.
