Make sure to drive via the main level crossing: we first tried the smaller one, and then waited for 15 minutes, it never opened (a sign it would not open was lacking) so cross over at the level crossing towards the camping area. The Church was built in the second quarter of the 13th century and is nearly unchanged. Date of consecration and principal of the building is unknown. At the time of construction parish St. Clemens was in possession of Kornelimünster Abbey. The main changes are the Gothic ornamentation styl Windows on transept and apse and the Gothic cornerhelmet of the tower. During the last renovation in late 20th century, the colored external plaster was reconstructed. The church interior was closed when we visited and there was no hole in the defensive wire which was big enough to photograpfh its interior in a descent manner. Around the church is a cemetery. One can park the car at that parkinglot.
