Well groomed but busier than Mottolino, possibly as it's easier to get too. Prices are cheap on the mountain and there's more choice for restaurants/bars at the bottom as it goes straight into the valley where the town is.

Very good slopes, beautiful views, ski lift little slow but otherwise - fantastic! plenty of different routes, try Federia on the top - very good indeed.

Good: wide slopes, a few people and short queues before lifts, ideal sunny and cool weather.Bad: nothing.

Nice slopes for everyone's taste and experience. My friends who ride better than me stayed near the Corosello gondola, I on the other hand went mostly to Cortaccia area which has nice and easy slopes.

We went to Livigno this february and had a great time on the sloapes surrounding Carosello. There are sloapes for all types of skiers. Go to the 3000m peack on a sunny day! The view is fantastic!One remark only: if it snows after they finished preparing the sloaps in the evening, the sloap might bee difficult next day....

Mottolino mountain (opposite side of the Livigno vilage) is much better (IMHO). Better slopes and more snow on the mountain. Almost no black slopes at Carosello! However it's better for kids! All entertainment for them is there.

Beautifully groomed wide piistes. Something for every standard of skiing. Livigno is a great and under-rated ski area plus tax-free shopping. So everyone's a happy holidaymaker! The only negative is a lengthy transfer from all airports - but it's worth it!

I had a short trip to Livigno with my daughter for ski.It's great place for families and singles.A lot of ski slops and facilities for ski training.Me and my daughter went to ski school and had great time to learn ski together.Livignio is small town has it own magic within it. We just loved to walk round there.

The Carosello 3000 ski area improves every time we go there. There is a great variety of lifts and pistes and the condition of the pistes are all excellently maintained. We have skied here for many years and it really does improve every year.

There are plenty of runs to suit all abilities although if you only like black runs you would be limited.

Nice area, but separated by a road. High location, so snow is no problem. Slow and old lifts. Not much restaurants on the slope.

I am skiing from my 3 years age. But the best skiing resort in my life is here. I just loving it. So many slopes, so many possibilities. Everytime good weather, good people. Cheap alkohol :)

Perfect place for skiing. For those who like skiing and snowboarding an extremely this is a great destination. Wide and Spacious paths. No crowds. Great ready tracks from the early morning. We had a wonderful, sunny weather and beautiful views of the mountains. Indeed, enjoying skiing on these trails. There are red and black runs.At the top there is an excellent restaurant. Prices are decent.Always enjoy in this beautiful place

We had an impromptu lunch at 3000m above sea level. Good setting with a great view. Pasta is really worth it! I might be back for more. Service was friendly and English speaking.
