Signposting around the picture gallery is confusing. As a result we missed a whole floor. When we realised this and tried to get back up the stairs we were stopped and told that we could not go back

Stumbled upon this place during a walk not far from our hotel ( at Una Maison Milano). The library turned museum features rooms after rooms of fabulous paintings, one that stood out to me was a series of paintings by Jan Brueghel. Had a wonderful time absorbing the beauty and intensity of the artworks as there are not very many people wondering around. Audio guides are available for purchase at the ticket counter. There's a security guard in every room making sure that you do not take photos or touch the artwork. The cherry on top was definitely Da Vinci's Atlanticus Codex located in the amazingly preserved wood crafted library where you can still see and smell the old books dating from previous centuries decaying on the racks. Worth the stumble and will come back here on my next visit to Milano.

Da Vinci Atlanticus Codex is a wonderfull exposition of the genius manuscripts for his studies on water. The library and pinacoteca are awesome and the visit worth every cent spent.

Dear Sir,we are sorry to know that you had a bad experience with the lady at the box office, this is the first time we receive such a complaint and we’ll make sure this will not happen again. We only regret that in your review you wrote four paragraphs about the lady at the front desk and then just three lines on the museum itself, commenting the art collection with just three words “mediocre to okay art”. We personally feel that artists such as Titian, Raphael, Leonardo da Vinci, Botticelli, Caravaggio (just to mention a few of the renowned artists featured in the 24 rooms of the museum) would definitely deserve a far better, if not more detailed and exhaustive, comment.Best regards

Great, so much to see, the paintings are out of this world, give yourself plenty of time to go round it will take a least 3 hours to see everything if not longer.

We stumbled upon this place while exploring the historic city center, and absolutely loved it! Fantastic exhibits and recorded guided tour, well worth a visit when in Milan especially if you are a fan of Leonardo.

A beautiful gallery with a nice collection of art at the highest floors. The visit is a bit awkward, moving from indoors to outdoors throughout the visit. However it has its charm when discovering the architecture of this old monastery. The library at the end of the visit is worth it with its particular atmosphere and Da Vinci's codex displayed.

Amazing! We can't believe we saw actual pages of daVinci's "Codex"! And all the ancient, memorable, gorgeous art! Who knew this fantastic museum was hiding, quietly, in Milan? And, right next door to our lovely hotel! What a pleasure to visit! Truly!

I fell upon this beautiful museum while walking around Milan a few years ago. At the time they were exhibiting drawings of Leonardo da Vinci, I loved it so much but I couldn't remember it's name to write a review. If you happen to be in Milan I really recommend you find out where this place is a pay a visit. Mosaic walls and beautiful paintings adorn the walls, a must see.

If you are interested in painting, particularly from the Renaissance period, you should visit this place and also, if you have the time and forces, the not so far Pinacoteca de Breda.
