    这家美术馆曾经是所修道院,里面有很多修道士的房间,每个房间都有圣经壁画。这里的弗拉·安吉利科的《圣母领报》值得一看。

Welcome to the convent! The place has a really authentic feel, and feels quite differently from the standard museum. The frescoes are stunning. Fra Angelico's Annunciation is one of the most moving pieces I've ever seen.

A place of great calm and great beauty. Here - in the cells of monks past and present - you will be able to view the world's finest collection of frescoes by Fra Angelico. Every one is a small gem. And the library has a wonderful display of religious texts showing the loveliness of the book - a loveliness never approached by Kindle.

I sort of bumped in to this place as I had some time. Very nice place, peaceful. Has a lot of information, probably you need to get informed ahead of your visit. Staff were very polite.

A lovely retreat to visit with peaceful Tuscan gardens and amazing artefacts. It usually closes at 1.30 so make sure you arrive early.

Very old artwork inside. Where the monks used to stay. If you have a week in Florence, then it is worth the visit.

Many frescos here. But many are faded and many are the same. Worth a visit, but if pressed for time , go someplace else.

Slightly off the main tourist track, but amazing for those on the renaissance trail. The frescos are obviously superb and are an important step in the story of western art.

Frescoes by Fra Angelico, especially the famous Annunciation at the top of the stairs, are out-of-this-world.Great to visit in February and just walk in with no queues

This is a fascinating museum as it gives a real insight into the monastic life. Each of the cells on the first floor have a wall painting and two have an area of floor removed to show the frescos that were discovered in the ceiling of the previous building. Well worth a visit. Allow about two hours.

Fantastic frecoes by Fra Angelica. We thought this would be a quick visit but took much longer than we anticipated

Probably the most charming, restful museum in downtown Florence. Not to be missed, and it's only a stone's throw from the David (Accademia)! Watch the opening times, though, they're not always easy to figure out.

Liked: every single bit! Wait, no. We loved it! Disliked: difficult to find your way about, poor directional signs. Few English version explanations of various art works & displays. Once again, thank goodness for Rick Steves Guidebooks. Luckily, too, delightful Renaissance (Fra Angelico) art needs no explanation! (Why don't more "bookstores" offer those "screen saver cloths" with souvenir style "designs" printed on them. They pack soooo easily, they're usually not terribly expensive & family & friends appreciate useful "souvenirs"!) Just enjoy!

Absolutely not to be missed. If you must, spend a few minutes admiring Michelangelo's *David* at the Accademia - and then come over here, just next door, to see some of what one of Michelangelo's greatest predecessors accomplished. Plan to spend at least an hour or two.

Don't miss the second floor where there are different frescoes in each of the private rooms. It was a very nice museum. There was some English signage - but not for all items.
