My granddaughter was treated to her first horse riding lesson and what a treat. From the time we arrived to the time we left, she was taken care of by the instructress and given supervision and a lesson for an hour. Granddaughter had just turned 5 but lapped up the instruction and even took the reins on her own without being lead. The supervision is amazing and they will even pick you up from the statiin at Lucca if you don't have your own vehicle to get there as it is a way out. Probably about 15 minutes into Lucca. A real must for the horse lover as they have all grades of tuition available. A dutch lady was the instructress and was so patient and friendly. Would highly recommend.

We've been to Lucca twice and rented bikes for the Bizzaro outlet both times. They're close to the walls with easy access up the ramps. This is a great way to appreciate just how compact the town is inside the walls and allows you to appreciate just how big the wall structure is. The tree covered path is serene, and you can feel the life of the residents as they walk to and fro. Do not miss this really interesting opportunity.

Just finished a 2 hour ride with Rosi and another experienced rider in the Lucca hills.A great experience.Rosi and Adriano came to pick me up in Lucca and were very good hosts.I was given Paco a horse suited for my riding capabilities .After the ride we watered the horses and brought them to the pasture.I missed out on their day ride ,maybe the next time.I recommend this adventure.

I ride and know its a lovely way to appreciate the countryside and wanted my husband to have this experience too, he has never ridden. It was important that I felt confident that we would be riding well behaved horses. This is exactly what we got. The horses were well cared for, calm and safe. The ride took us through woods, vineyards and a trail with amazing views. A wonderful way to spend an afternoon. I have never ridden western saddle before but can recommend it. The directions to the stables were very clear. A lovely way to spend an afternoon for all the family. Don't miss this opportunity.

Perfect hosts; very in tune with their craft and skilled with the horses. We had a one hour ride and it was absolutely tailored to our needs. Rosi and staff were great, very helpful, understanding, thoughtful and caring. This was money well spent and I would highly recommend this, impossible to be disappointed with such a great experience.

The people were so nice and had great control and really lovely horses! I had been before and I am definitely going back!This must be the first thing on your to-do list in Lucca!

As I had no transport, I was picked up from the train station by Laura. She immediately put me at my easy by her friendly manner. There were only two other riders on the ride and both were experienced. The horse I was riding was a lovely young dark bay mare, Lady. She was very well turned out, obedient and well-mannered. The tack was Western and took a bit of getting used to but was perfect for the terrain, which can be challenging. The ride was exciting and led by Federico and he called it "extreme trekking". The scenery was lovely: forest trails, wildflower meadows, vineyard views and a little road work. The two hour ride was over all too soon. On our return the horses had some forage and were watered. The care of the horses is obviously a top priority here which is great to know. I would thoroughly recommend this experience, especially for the lone traveller. Be sure to wear long-sleeved tops to protect arms from vegetation and biting insects.

We had a great ride with Lucca Horse Riding! Laura, Rosi, and the rest of the staff were great! I came with my two sons - 5 and 7 - and they helped them out and they had a great time too! Very enjoyable learning about the horses and the surrounding areas! Highly recommend this as a nice activity for the whole family! It would be great by yourself too!

2 hour trek as complete beginners. My 2 daughters aged 15 and 14 loved it and so did I. There is something magical about being on the back of a horse going down the side of a Tuscan olive plantation. Only downside is the chemical toilet was blocked but in hindsight could have used the hotel toilet before setting off. Thank you Laura and Rosi for the experience of a lifetime!

My boyfriend and I took the Strada Del Vino 2 hour riding tour and had a wonderful time. The tour was totally private and definitely a hike, but our guide made us feel right at home. The horses went up super skinny paths through the Lucca hills and we saw some incredible views. It was a very unique way to experience the Tuscan hills, and a memory I will not soon forget. My boyfriend had never really been on a horse before, so he was a total beginner, and the horse was still pretty well behaved.

I enjoyed a lovely 2 hour hack in the Tuscan countryside riding through vineyards and olive groves. Importantly the horses are all in really good condition with well fitting tack. Given its close proximity to Lucca the trails were quiet and rural with great views. I rode a Maremmano, a breed originating from Tuscany, who was well behaved and extremely sure footed. The pace of the rides is well suited to beginners and more novice riders. The tour leaders spoke good English. I would thoroughly recommend a morning's hack.

My husband and I took our 13 year old grandson to Italy for 2 weeks and spent 6 days in the lucca area taking day trips to the major cities and towns in this part of Tuscany. On our last day,we decided to do something different and booked a 2 hour riding tour through Lucca Horseriding. What an incredible experience! Our guide, Rosie was terrific! She expertly guided us through vineyards, olive groves, and natural wooded areas showing us how to handle the horses and made sure we got the most out of our tour. The scenery was picture postcard perfect and it is a morning that is a highlight of our trip! We highly recommend taking time for this experience where you will see the Tuscany not visible from the roadway. Thanks, Rosie.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful 2 hour ride with beautiful views over the luccan hills and riding through vineyards. Even though we had no experience with horseriding what so ever, the horses were well trained and laura kept a good eye on us, so we had nothing to fear and all we needed to do was enjoying the ride. Rosie was very professional and replied very fast by email when we were planning the ride. Definitely a new experience we very much appreciated doing!
