Great views from the top of the castleInformative tour guide Note you can only go in with a guide, so if you turn up and see the chain across "tour in progress" you may have to wait up to 20 minutesAs others have said, check the opening timesTour taste 30minutes with plenty of time on each level to take photos and have a proper lookOne of the better castles in the region

You can visit the small castle, but only with a guided tour. Take a look at the opening hours. Last tour was at 5:15 hrs. You get some information about the castle and the history of the surroundings.

It's amazing this castle. To get to the castle you take a little road that is a nice journey itself. It's impressing the view of the castle and from the castle to all the region. There is a small street that surrounds the castle and you can walk felling the atmosphere. I think it's worth to get there by car to take our time and relax.

Amazing 12th century castle complete with frescoes and portcullis. Guides are super nice and speak very good English. They are also very knowledgable and share lots of interesting historical information about the castle and the family that built it. Gift shop has books on local history and cooking in both Italian and English. Highly recommend!Tip: check times of operation before making the drive.

This is a no frills castle, not an elegant re-creation but a dyed in the wool authentic military installation that was not designed to be a showpiece but rather to serve a brutal but necessary function. The guides are well informed and entertaining and the views of the surrounding countryside superb. And, it's free! Recommended.

This was by far the best castle that we visited!! Not commercial at all and a tour in English for just 2 of us. The guide ( a young girls) was lovely and we learnt more here about the wine region than we did at Barolo! For 5 euros we thought we should have paid more!

The castle stands high on a little hill in the middle of Serralunga vineyards. It's not particularly beautiful but it's charming and you can have a wondeful view of the landscape around it in every direction. Serralunga town itself is charming. Sometimes there are wine tasting session in the old rooms. The "bottega del vino" is a mandatory stop.

We had a great tour of the castle with a very enthusiastic guide. She was great and really brought the history of it to life. Highly recommended.

Fascinating how people could build such things in middle ages. Well worth a visit if you're an architecture buff.

The guide provided v detailed info on the castle and the views fm the castle are very nice! The guides are volunteers but v helpful. One can consider contributing small sums at the end of the tour.

To be honest, It was a surprised for me the visit on this Castle.I was by myself and I only planned to take some pictures but since I was on the entrance of the Castle, the guy offer me a free tour with a couple of Belgian ...The tour took ~ 30 minutes and he explained in details all the history and the whole castle.Besides the tour, this guy (who is from the area) recommended great places to visit, one of the best Barolo wines, etc...It was a complete tour... for sure I´ll do it again...
