A beautique filled, shopping feast for those who like style and top brands. For those who have to sit around and wait, a couple of lovely cafes and places to eat make it a treat.

The piazza is vast and there is plenty to do and see around it. the biggest surprise is the little glass covered galleria just at the beginning of the piazza on the left just as you have come into it from Via Po. A real hidden jewel.

This is the classy shopping area of the city. On one side are 2 churches, the Santa Cristina and San Carlo. Aside from designer shops, there are also pastry and chocolate shops. Aside from the Piazza Castello, this square makes one aware just how grand Turin is.

Stunning Architecture especially when lit up at night, nice for strolling, avoid the very expensive cafes in this piazza (arrogant staff and tourist traps) - can get same or better service and coffee at many other cafes nearby and around city

Wonderful piazza in the heart of the city. Cobblestones everywhere and very elegant shops (Prada, Armani, etc..) all around. Make sure to stop for a coffee at one of the cafe's that are in the piazza. I believe that in the summer must be a wonderful place to hang out, sipping a drink at one of the cafe's. Lastly, there are two wonderful baroque churches on one side. A must see!

Beautiful example of Italian architecture, a must see. Gorgeous palaces, chic cafeterias, pedestrian area

One of most beautiful parts of the city. A great place to see Italian architecture and to take some photos, yet not the best thing you can find in the city.

This is quite a nice square to take pictures at, and obviously a must-see in Torino. There are many cafeterias where you can sit and take a coffee/a cold drink after sightseeing, I would recommend to save this place for the end of the day for there are not really that many places to visit or anything, it's just one of the picturesque squares in Italy. :)

This piazza is a great place to sit on a sunny day, especially if you have some gelato/chocolate/anything that's unhealthy. There are benches, although locals will probably beat you to them. If you can, snag a seat at the base of the statue in the center. On a nice day, you might hear someone nearby playing some music or see some street performers plying their trade. Good spot to relax for a few.

I always enjoy to come here to see this square. It is in the middle of the crossway between the station and the piazza Castello. In the middle we admired the big statue. Wht this square is really lovely is to see all the nice bars, We went to Caffee Torino and it feels like going back 100 years

Great place with a lot of coffee shop around. The view is amazing and you can take good pictures with the old buildings.

Beautiful piazza, the shopping hits all sides if that is what you want. But when you stumble on this place at dusk, with the setting sun and the light going on, it truly is glorious. Fabulous statues and just a great ambiance all around.

When I say this it means that this is where the main shopping either starts or finishes depending on your direction of travel. It is the entry for us into the wonderful squares and history of the city-Piazza Carlo Alberta,Piazza Costello and Piazza Reale. All these are surrounded by wonderful smaller squares and more historical sights and museums churches Govt. buildings etc than you can visit in a couple of days. Turino is just one of the most beautiful historical centers in all of Europe. This time when we were there they had a food market going on with wonderful vendors. Make sure you have good walking shoes in this city very old rough cobblestones.

This city welcomes you by this beautiful square. It might temp you to stop for half and hour and seat on a bench or so. There are sometimes some markets which worth visiting, selling southern Italian foods.
