If you can to see the Tesin Beskidy (Silesian) from a birds´ eye view, climb the observation tower which is on the top Velká Čantoryje Hill (Great Čantoryje). The highest mountain Velká Čantoryje, 955m a.s.l. lies on Czech-Polish frontier. A tourist chalet has been built in 1904 on the Czech size west ward. Tower offering magnificent and unique view not only Czech and Poland, but also in the Slovak mountains - Malá Fatra and Tatry. Observation tower was built in 2002 - altitude 995m, highest point 1016, tower height 29m, height 5th floor 21.420m with capacity 170 peoples, number of stop 118. You can walk on a signposted trail from Nýdek. The trail climbs up to an altitude of 1016m and the view to the countryside is beautiful. A better approach is of Polish spa town Ustroň, from where the summit chairlift.
