Reading about this, I was expecting it to be larger, but there are only 3 rooms. The bones and skulls are really something interesting, but it's too expensive and too small.

I had a great time visiting this bone chapel. I delayed this trip by a year waiting for it to open.To be honest with you, it's small. It is unlikely you will be inside for more than half an hour but it is worth the trip. The space itself is interesting, the bones are arranged well and the lighting is nice too. It is also good to remember when you are walking around under the large church above. The entrance fee was cheap. I would recommend this attraction to anyone.

It is interesting place but 140 crowns entrance fee its just ridiculous. I mean you can see 3 rooms (plus entrance hall where are some examples of bone damadge caused for example by syphilis etc.) and that is pretty much it. We were in and out in 20 minutes tops.

Ever been to Skull Chapel in Kudowa-Zdrój in Poland? So it's more or less the same - but here it's underground and bones are nicely aligned. I definetely recommend doing a day trip to Brno Underground (there are 3 other underground objects in Brno downtown).

Very very interesting! A must see! It won't take more than 30 minutes! The employees are speaking english and they are very helpful!

The most incredible info about this place is, that it is the second biggest ossuary in Europe. 50 000 people are burried down there! I got goose bombs at that point... Well hidden spot that is interesting not to miss. Though the entrance is for sure not friendly. Unless you are a student eligible for a decent discount...

The place is really fascinating, the skulls and bones are preserved in an excellent condition. It is really small though, so it doesn't take a lot of time and the price of the ticket is really high.

I found it very interesting, because you can see the bones of old priests, which are quite preserved. Also, you can learn interesting facts about their lifestyles and history.

The ossuary is a fascinating and peaceful place. Atmospheric lighting and appropriate music. The bones and skulls are set out in impressive displays and the sheer number of them is astonishing. Photography is allowed without flash. There is a small selection of 'souvenirs' such as fridge magnets and keyrings, they could really do with producing a guidebook. I noticed a hardback book about the ossuary in several local bookshops.

Although I did expect more, I was still taken aback by the amount of people buried down there. Truly amazing to see the remains so well preserved!

The space is not very big, but it's very interesting to see if you have a little time. I did not find that kind of scene here! Very interesting !

I've never seen an ossuary before but I'm absolutely positive that this is the most well preserved and presentable of all. The eerie atmosphere along with the soft spooky music from the (invisible) speakers made that experience unforgettable. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that it was short. I mean too short! And the entrance fee was a bit much for the length of the tour. There were just three chambers and the hallways in between and the guide signs on the walls were not all of them in English. Although we were given a guide sheet that you had to read it before or after the tour since it contained general information about the place. The ladies in the front desk gave us a lot of useful instructions. You can take pictures without flash (use the low light option cause it's quite dark) and it is absolutely forbidden to touch the remains out of respect for the dead and for hygienic reasons! In my opinion this is not a place for kids! If you want to take them though please make sure that they understand the concept and they behave with respect! These are real bones and there is not a protection glass in front of them!

It will not take more then 15 minutes but still impressive. I have not seen such expositions before.

We had already seen a similar ossuary in the cappuccini's catacombs in Rome, but this museum was as well impressive and suggestive. Maybe it's just too small and some information panels in English are missing. Adviced

Easy to miss, accessible through a door at the bottom of some stairs alongside St Jacob's church. Take time to read the info plaques at the entrance before you go in, as once inside, there is nothing but beautiful memorials to the dead. The history of this ossuary is incredible, and what they have done to make it accessible to the public has been beautiful. Certain rooms have been artistically arranged, with artwork, and music that was specially composed. Other spaces have been left exactly as they were found. A humbling and respectful experience, to remind us of our own mortality - and similarities - and make us grateful for today.
