The town is the best over night. Mysterious and tiny streets are magical. Off season means no tourists! It has a real medieval feeling. Even our kids loved it!

Cesky Krumlov is a small medieval town offering unique architecture, cobbled streets with many small souvenir shops and a fairytale castle with amazing view! There are lots of restaurants offering traditional Czech dishes and a great Italian restaurant as an alternative. I highly recommend it for a day trip, as it is about 2-3 hours drive from Prague (student agency is the best bus service). Don't miss this!

Cesky Krumlov is a town straight out of a fairytale! Especially when a light dusting of snow covers the orange rooftops... Absolutely stunning! The historic centre is full of souvenir shops, selling beautiful Czech items. I visited in late February so escaped the crowds and experienced the town in a less 'touristy' fashion.Well worth a day trip from Prague or Ceske Budejovice (which is also worth checking out!)

It's a relaxing 2 days and if in the summer add some adventure with rafting or canoeing in the area.

Crisky Krumlov isn't the biggest attraction in the European map, or even the Czech map but what it lacks in size, it makes up for in character. It's a small magical town, like something out of a Disney movie. It has a castle, a moat, cobblestone paths, bears (in the moat) and the most wonderful stories of days gone by. It has remnants of a dividing wall that artfully been created in to a store & a cafe, transforming what was an unpleasant reminder into an inevative, ingenious hotspot.

We visited CK in the fall, and it was a great pleasure to walk around the gardens outside and explore the area. It is a truly wonderful place.

This is a must-see city. You can get there by bus from the Prague bus station, and is 2-3 hours drive depending what bus you get on. Shoot for the Student bus. It's the fastest. We stayed right in the center and could walk everywhere. It all looks like a medieval village, complete with a castle on the hill and a beautiful river running right through the center.Don't miss this!

Cesky is so quaint and yet on any day you can see locals going about their everyday lives in such beautiful and unique surroundings. Cobbled streets are towered over by the Castle itself and surrounded by the fast running Vltava River

The town has been restored beautifully. Lots to see. In the high season it becomes quite crowded with tourists so a tip is - go outside of the main season. We visited in February and felt we had the place to ourselves.
