Elegant and quiet. We walked through the village of Tsinandali to this well restored country estate. From the modern photos on the wall, it is still used for elegant gatherings. There is a tasting option, and the knowledgable tour guides, give tours in Russian and English, and Georgian. Walking in the gardens is delightful.

I really enjoyed my visit to the Chavchavadze Estate. The admission ticket includes a personal guide and they offered many different languages. The estate has been restored and there are many historical family items and other authentic pieces on display. Be sure to ask the guide about the famous raid by Imam Shamil in 1854, he took some of the noble family hostage but it isn't part of the normal presentation for the house, so the guide will not talk about it unless you ask.

Located in Tsinandali this family estate offers beautiful English gardens to explore, and a well restored family home of Prince Alexander Chavchavadze. Alexander was the first to introduce piano to Georgia and the house has fantastic collection of grand pianos and upright pianos among other personal items that belong to Chavchavadze family. The grounds include old winery, founded by Alexander's father collection of which includes wines dating to 1814. Unfortunately winery undergoin renovation and will be closed until end of 2014Current fee is 5 lari per person and it included guided tour of the house.

очень интересное место с хорошим парком.в доме много предметов быта,а в подвале обставлен настоящий винный погреб "марани" где центром являются вовсе не винные полки,а прекрасный старинный рояль.главное возьмите хорошего гида.

Очен наглядно показано, как жили дворяне в Грузии в 19 веке. Сохранена не только мебель, но и предметы обихода, очень дорогие. Содержательная экскурсия. Мне было интересно послушать про похищение одной из невесток Шамилем. В результате, которого Шамиль вернул себе сына. Очень красивый сад. До сих пор в великолепном состоянии. Подвалы с вином. В этом доме хоть сейчас заселяйся и живи.

в целом понравилось. прогулялись по парку, послушали рассказ экскурсовода об имении, продегустировали местного вина. вино, кстати, отличное!

Мы посетили дом-музей Александра Чавчавадзе во время путешествия по Кахетии. Пожалуй, именно этот пункт стал жемчужиной поездки. Имение располагается в большом красивом парке, одному ему можно посвятить не один час.Сам дом показался очень уютным. Понравилась гид, чувствовалось ее внимательное и трепетное отношение к этому дому. В кафе при музее купили вкусную свежую чурчхеллу.

Заехали в музей по дороге в Телави. Это родной дом Чавчавадзе, расположенный в прекрасном большом саду. Покупаете билет, куда входит и экскурсия по дому и интересный расказ. Здесь можете увидеть домашний быт, одежду и даже пианино, принадлежавшие этой семье. Прогуляться по парку, сфотографироваться на фоне дерева счастья.
