The bar is very central and always makes for a great time. The establishment holds the world record for most beers offered at any one moment (2000+ beers or something), you can really get anything you want. The vibe is laid back and the place can get pretty crowded, but never uncomfortably so in my experience. Definitely definitely worth a visit when in Brussels.

First and foremost, the positives. The beers here are just fantastic, incredible selection and it's a fantastic experience for anyone even remotely into beer. It's quite dim and grungey but for a group of lads into beer and not that fussy it was perfect. However, our trip was ruined by some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I did notice they had a sign that said they don't do samples but as it was fairly quiet I asked the bar tender if i was able to try a certain guest beer before I bought a glass. He understood and said yes, after I said I don't have to pay for it and he concurred. He then brought me a full glass and he proffered his hand for payment. I explained that I wanted to taste it and wasn't sure if I would be getting the whole glass. He stared at me blankly, and I said I would prefer the beer I had ordered earlier. At this point, he aggressively smashed the glass onto the floor, and shouted in my face. He stormed off to get the other beer, brought it back and took my money and then shouted something again as he handed my change, glaring at me directly. I asked a local sat next to me what the bar tender said, and it was 'go back to your f***ing country you f***ing idiot c***'. I have never witnessed such behaviour and it was soUpsetting and ruined the evening for me. For reference, he had a beard and wore a green vest and was rather tall.

I have been in Europe now for just over two months, and have visited my fair share of bars; this was by far the best one. My group and I each tried about 6 (out of 3,000 choices) beers, and I wasn't disappointed in any of them. Everyone inside is extremely friendly and helpful, and I would recommend asking them about their favorite local beers to try. One that really stuck out as a favorite was a Black Cherry beer-girl, yes, but still great. There are three levels to this bar: bottom level is where the college kids go, as it's more crowded and a lot louder than the other floors. The middle is a good mixture between loud and calm, and the very top ( the happy loft) is more low key where you can sit down and play some cards. This place is a must-go, definitely my favorite night out in the past two months!

Fantastic selection of beers (3,000 types for sale) in a range of prices! Tried 3 or 4 different types of beer and was not disappointed with one of them. Even though the lower bar was packed we didn't have to wait more than a minute to be served at the bar! The decor was fantastic, with trays all over the ceilings and walls, with peoples names and messages written all around the walls! There's loads of seating and standing space as well! Went with a large group of friends and had loads of fun, the music must have been on a playlist (not DJ) as the songs were so erratic, but lots of fun when the song changed dramatically!Would recommend the Delirium Nocturnam beer (15%) and is still quite light. If you want to be a real tourist- i'd recommend buying a pink elephant hat, they are so ridiculous looking but so much fun. It's located down an alley which becomes full of people as the bar spills out into the alley it's lots of fun! IT is also across from an absinthe/ Rum bar too!Really glad we went there! Would definitely recommend to a friend!

Quit crowed but the bar style is just that. Amazing variety of beers. You really have a hard time choose.

This is my third time here and it's wonderfully consistent. Great beers and a fantastic people watching atmosphere. Not a place to be skipped.

As a beer lover, delirium was like a chocolate factory for a 5-year old. It was definitely one of the coolest bars I've been! Countless varieties of beer on tap, unfortunately impossible to taste them all!! I am not used to having beers at 8% alcohol so woke up with a huge hangover the next day. Still I think it was worth it!! My favourite was the cactus beer which was a lot less strong than the other local brewed beers, it was green and had a fruity taste (girly ;)). The atmosphere was great, too!! LOOOOOOVE the decor in the bar!!!! I think everyone in Europe should go there at least once in their life!! Highly recommended!!!

We had a fantastic night at Delirium. So many beers to choose from and the staff were more than happy to help us choose what we were looking for. We went for the 3 sampling glasses and 4 Belgian chocolates which was great value at 8 Euros, before settling on a couple of beers we enjoyed. Such a huge range of beers and a lively fun atmosphere, an experience not to be missed!

Great for a night out! There are more than one pub as part of Delirium so you are almost guaranteed to find a spot you enjoy! Try the local beers because you're only in Belgium once!

I have been at this place several times, the place is generally crowded, nevertheless the quality and the variety of beers is totally worth it. The underground floor is amazing, beer glasses and gadgets spread on the ceiling and walls, the atmosphere is enhanced further by the low light. The astonished face of people reading the endless beer-book for the first time is simply priceless. The place is not exactly clean at night but considering the amount of people who come by it makes sense. I consider this place as a must do for every tourist.

Amazing beer selection. We didn't try anything under 8%. Felt it next day. Gets busy day and night so get there early and get a table. Staff are friendly and knowledgable

Good place to come to if you're not in Belgium long and want to try as many Belgium beers as possible. The selection is huge. But service can be slow and difficult to get to the bar sometimes also as a lot of people sit around the bar limiting access.

Between the Troubadour Wastkust beer (absolutely fantastic and unique) and the 3 euro very generous serving of delicious smoked Gouda cheese, this place gets top reviews. Noisy, sure, it's a bar, and a fantastic one at that.

We visited here on a Friday night and it was very busy with drunken people stumbling around everywhere. The place has a wonderful selection of beers (I seem to remember the figure 2000 banded about) and is worth a visit. However, I have one big gripe. My wife left her scarf on the place. We returned the following morning and were told that it had been found and taken to the lost item section. Then, fairly shockingly, a member of staff had quite fancied it and pretty much stolen it. The scarf was lost to my wife forever. We tried calling several times over the coming days, but each time the staff member on the other end quickly said they were too busy and hung up on me. Very rude and unprofessional.

If you're a fan of beer you'll definitely love this place. A bit too crowded and the staff is rude, but they have the best beer in town.
