I surprised my husband with this trip and had no idea what to expect. It was our first vineyard tour or wine-tasting experience and I couldn't have picked a better one! Frank was an absolute pleasure and a gentleman. We had an extremely relaxing day, just ourselves and Frank driving around Chablis learning so much about the area and process of wine making from start to finish. Frank also recommended a beautiful and authentic French Restaurant for lunch which was just perfect. We had a really fantastic day and tasted and learned so much about wine. We would highly recommend this trip. It's a treat!

Frank was an amazing wealth of knowledge. Luckily for us his English is great though he won't take credits for that. He drove us around the vineyards pointing out different plots and grades of wine. He was able to answer our questions and gave us tons of information without it being too much. The weather held out and we had a glass of Chablis while in the vineyards and overlooking the town of Chablis. After was our tasting of some fabulous white wines of Chablis. This was a great way for us to spend an afternoon in Chablis.

This was a great tour; we both absolutely loved every minute of it. Chablis is a really super little village in a lovely setting. It is wine, wine and more wine ...and what great wine. Frank has great contacts in the village and amazingly has keys to the Caves and permission to go in, show you around - and to allow you to taste the wine. He took us to Domaine Vocoret et Fils. We tasted 5 wines from Petit Chablis upwards to Grand Cru. We did buy but there was absolutely no pressure whatsoever to do so. I have found visits to Caves a bit embarrassing in the past but I felt nothing of this in this case. I absolutely suggest a trip with Frank, unreservedly.

We booked this tour because we wanted to learn more about Chablis. It exceeded our expectations and in the end we got so much more. Frank is a thoughtful and engaging guide. His complete devotion to what he does easily comes through and makes for an even more enjoyable experience. For those thinking of making this a day trip - let us assure you it can be done quite easily from Paris. We took the first train out of the Lazarre station and reached the closest station is Auxerre just past 10:00 a.m. Frank picked us up at the station and we immediately set out on our full day tour. Frank dropped us off at the station with plenty of time to make it back to Paris by 9:30 p.m. As for the tour, Frank took us first to the vineyards overlooking Chablis to learn more about the vines, their placement, and the importance of exposure to the sun on the grapes. We then visited a winemaker, having nearly full access to the facilities. We had a tasting there before moving on. We made our way to the nearby caves, walking deep into the mountain to see the immense underground storage operation. We had a tasting of sparkling wines and then moved on to the most fascinating tour of the wine cellars under an old church. We saw 30, 40 and 50 year old wines and all the cobwebs you could imagine covering bottles stashed in every nook and cranny of the cellar. The cellar had been used by the local clergy to make wine and the remnants of the early wine crushing vats where still there. We finished our tour with a tasting in the cellar and then it was back to the station. Frank also built in a good 1 1/2 lunch break for us to relax in Chablis - and of course drink more wine with lunch!!! Overall, the tour was fantastic and Frank is a fantastic guide. Oh, and not ONCE did Frank try to sell us wine - he was there only to educate and inform us. You will find his tour worth every penny and much more.

Frank is an extemely knowlegeable and personable fellow. The one-day tour gave us an excellent intro and review of Chablis and cremant wines. We tasted a good range of wines and Frank took us to a couple of key places in Chablis to give us a visual overview of the area. We met some winemakers and we saw a number of lovely villages off the beaten track. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants a deeper appreciation of this area of France and its wines. A truly lovely day for my wife and i which we will not forget.

Franck led us on a really informative 90 minute tour of the Grand Cru vineyard and the other Chablis locations. Informative and fun. Good English and a good sense of humour. Highly recommended. Can be booked direct or through the Office du Tourism in Chablis.

We had an excellent time touring the Chablis vineyards with Franck. We were a group of 9,6 adults, 2 kids: 10 and 8 and a baby, 4 months old in stroller. Franck made everybody fell at ease. He was so professional, fun and so knowledgeable, not only the kids learned but the adults too. In spite of the iffy weather, Franck made our day bright and shiny. If you want a memorable time in the Chablis vineyards, go with Franck, Chablis Vititours.

Vineyard, cellar discoveries and Wine tasting.. We had a blast!!!!! Burgundy / Chablis is a famous wine country south of Paris and it competes with Bordeaux as France most prestigious vineyard. Franck (Vititours) is the man to know - if you want to visit the vineyards, taste the wines, and get some clear explanations about the area, the wine in general and its production. We had an appointment with him at 4:30PM and he did not hesitate to do extra time as we were talking and tasting the wines. Great person, so knowledgable. Great tour - really cool. All the family was really satisfied and enjoyed the visit; we had a baby stroller = no problem. Our 2 other kids also enjoyed the visit :)
