Terrific show---get the combo ticket for the cathedral and show, if you want to walk to the top of Le Baux village. Currently the show is Klimpt and Vienna and the paintings of the artist are projected on the walls and floors of the quarry accompanied by music. The start of the show is abstract images which flow into each other and is also accompanied by music. The entire show lasts about 1/2 hr. This is a most unusual show and shouldn't be missed.

My wife and I had heard other travelers mention the quarry at Les Baux and the multi- media show there. I was highly skeptical and only visited due to bike fatigue riding up the steep road to Les Baux. From almost the moment we entered, I could not believe what I was seeing. Displayed on huge white stone walls in every direction were massive depictions of impressionist paintings in constant motion. Looking down one of the long quarry chambers was like standing in the most amazing art gallery you can imagine. Apart from the waves of sensory pleasure, it was also a fascinating learning experience as one artist's works were displayed in proximity to another's paintings. A very unique experience that should not be missed.

"When I researched this attraction, I couldn't quite get my ahead around what it actual was and overall, it sounded "cheesy" to me. I couldn't have been more wrong! This is an installation of the highest artistic merit. You literally enter inside a world of painting (in this case, artists who painted in the Mediterranean) as if you are a paint drop on the canvas. The music, projection techniques, and art selection were all brilliant. My companion teared up, finding the experience so beautiful and amazing. This show is appropriate for all ages and I think any child, say 5 or over, would think it was awesome. Bring sweaters as it can be a bit chilly (The quarry itself is unique.). It provides a wonderful break from visiting walled cities and traditional museums."

We walked from the fortress/castle nearby and it was a delightful surprise. Prepare to get lost in a wonderland of sound and artwork. Made me proud of what beauty man can create, helped by nature.

Fantastic concept - executed perfectly. An old limestone quarry is converted into a huge gallery of projected art that fills the walls 30m high. Music plays in accompaniment and you can 'walk' through the artworks - or even climb within them. A must see. — in Les Baux-de-Provence, Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur.

If you are within 25 miles of Les Baux, go to the Cathedrale Des Images. Amazing dislpay of works of famous 20th century artists, Monet, Chagal Renoir etc etc projected on walls ceiling floor of immense ex bauxite mine. Impossible to describe the scenes and atmosphere. Stay for at least 2 rounds of the show, its almost impossble to take in

Bravo
