I stayed in Tullagh Bay Equestrian Centre for 4 nights as a part of my residential section of my gold Duke of Ed award. The staff were very friendly and were always there to give a helping hand if you needed! The centre is situated in a great location which enabled us to do various activities such as hillwalking, canoeing, archery and of course horse riding which was great fun! I had an amazing and unforgettable experience and would encourage anyone who needs to do their residential as part of DofE to definitely consider Tullagh Bay Equestrian Centre!!

Really enjoyed this activity with my family and would highly recommend this to any one. We have two kids (6 & 2). We booked a lesson and were told to arrive early to get all gear on. Facility was lovely and clean. Kids were fitted with appropriate safety helmet, boots etc. The staff were patient and made sure that the correct helmets were fitted so felt kids were in safe hands. Lesson started spot on time. Our 2yr old was too young for a lesson but I was able to walk long side to hold her on the pony and she loved it. Our 6yr old who hd never been on a horse/pony before, loved it. Staff were patient, friendly and very helpful.Intend to go back with my son myself for a trek on the beach... Can't wait!Would recommend this and good value for money.Well done to all at Tullagh Bay Equestrian Center.

Definitely a MUST if you visit Inishowen and it's surroundings! The guys at Tullagh Bay Equestrian were very friendly, professional and reassuring. Whilst we were hoping to have a beach trek, unfortunately, the tail end of a hurricane made that impossible! However, our children (11yrs & 10yrs) were given a very enjoyable lesson in the indoor arena on well kept, good natured horses in impeccable facilities. We found the price very reasonable too. Suitable helmets, boots & back protectors were provided. My son was very nervous to start with but the calming and humorous support of Mr Devlin ensured he gained confidence as the session unfolded. It was wonderful to find such a lovely place, run by such a dedicated and hard working family who have obviously invested a lot of blood, sweat and tears (not to mention hard earned cash too I'm sure)! I hope that people continue to visit the facility to ensure its success into the future. Thanks again to the Devlin family for a wonderful experience!

Had a brilliant time pony trekking on the beach. Megan & Claire were lovely & friendly & were great with the horses. I would recommend anyone coming to this area to go here as part of their trip! Thanks girls for a lovely afternoon :-)

This was one of the highlights of our trip to the magical northern coast of Ireland! Catherine runs a well-maintained, safe, and well-equipped facility (I live on a horse training ranch in the States, so I've seen many different facilities). We were welcomed warmly, fitted with proper helmet and boots, given an experience-appropriate horse as well as two wonderful young ladies to lead us and keep us safe - and we were off! I was perfectly content to just walk - being on the beach, breathing in the sea air on horseback, enjoying the scenery = a slice of heaven! Catherine was also very gracious and took a number of pictures with my phone - great memories to keep!A wonderful experience!

This was are 1st visit to the tullagh bay equestrian centre and it certainly will not be the last. I myself had not been on a horse since i was 14 and i was extremely nervous, but i was put at ease immediately and had a ball. Theres nothing like a treck on a beautiful beach when the sun is beaming down.Thanks to the brilliant, friendly staff at the centre who made our family day out one to remember..

a horseshoe is a sign of good luck and that's just what arriving at tullagh equestrian is. the relaxed welcome belies a professional competence that ensures enjoyment for children and peace of mind for parents. we have enjoyed the Devlin experience for the last 3 years and are booked for next year too. DV. we travel from cork and it is an annual highlight, right up there with Santa Claus. thank you and well done to all. mairead.

Our 2 sons aged 5 and 12 did a 3 day summer camp last week. They had never had a riding lesson before so I was unsure of what to expect. The facilities at Tulagh were great and the owners very welcoming.The place was very clean one organised and safety was a priority. The boys were given helmets and boots and set off with smiles. They really loved their camp and we got a few hours to spend walking the mountains in Inishowen. The location beside the beach was wonderful. We will be back!

We were in the area visiting family and decided to try a beach trek. Our experience was brilliant from beginning to end. The staff were friendly, professional and helpful and the facilities were excellent. Our children found the horses gentle and felt they had a great riding experience. We adults enjoyed it very much too. We've been on this beautiful beach many times, but being on horseback gave it an added dimension. This family business is a very welcome addition to the area and really showcases the landscape, as well as giving you a really great time.

My Husband, Son and I called ahead to book the beach ride at quite short notice and we were lucky enough to get a place on the 12pm ride. My son and I have ridden before but we are still novices. My Husband is a nervous beginner. On arrival we completed the necessary paperwork and we were provided with riding boots and hats. Body protectors were provided to the children. We were allocated our horses, my Son had Tommy, Husband had Star and I had Hazel. After a walk and trot around the inside arena we headed out to the beach. The horses were led at all times by guides, which was a comfort to my husband. The girls who led Hazel and Star were French students who were really friendly and chatted to us about the stables and the horses. At the beach we walked and trotted along the beautiful beach before returning to the stables. We thoroughly enjoyed our ride at Tullagh Bay, the facilities are first class and the horses are happy and very well looked after. I would be more than happy to recommend Tullagh Bay to families and riders of all abilities.

Brought my 9yr old and 5 yr old to Tullagh Bay Equestrian Centre to take part in a beach hack. Thoroughly enjoyed by both children. Safety was a major priority at all times which appealed to me! Will definitely re visit :-) Brilliant afternoon.
