The lighthouse and the stretch of pebbles 500 meters out from the lighthouse is a very nice stop on your way around Saarema. Also good as a destination for a day trip out of Kurressare. It is not much there, but if the weather is nice and sun is up, the stroll along the seaside out from the lighthouse is a very cozy one. The area was previously a centre for sea rescue where they had the boat house located straight across the bank reaching out from the lighthouse. It feels like you are at the edge of the world with nothing but sea in sight. There is a small visitor centre with exhibitions and people selling traditional souvenirs there too. In the summer there are concerts inside the new buildings behind the lighthouse.

Definitely beautiful for a drive through and perhaps a lunch on the beach but no need to spend too much time there. It is one of those really nice places without too many tourists, allowing one to really enjoy the scenery

Один из многих маяков на острове Сааремаа. Они все похожи, но каждый индивидуален. Здесь очень ветрено, но в хорошую погоду можно устроить отличный пикник на галечном пляже.

Здесь расположен большой маяк, полуразрушенные постройки, крохотные лодочки у берега. Очень ветрено. На маленьком острове такие мелочи являются достопримечательностями, не объезжайте их стороной.
