Our group was welcomed with a great meal, in the big kitchen where the food was prepared. We had a marvelous lunch and after that an enthousiastic guide that showed us how the onyl working water mill in Estonia made flower from whole grain. I could really recommend a visit and a stroll in the vicinity.

You can not believe, but it is still working watermill in Estonia, already 134 and still making good quality fresh flour for different kind of grains. And it is making not only flour, but also electricity!Last year the very kind mill-lady Mae opened her new breadroom, it means you taste or even youself make a bread! Nice idea! The water mill is the last watermill in Estonia still working. The owner got his grandfather's father's mill and renovated it. There is still work to do but the place is open for visitors - groups only. The basic package takes about 2 hours. It starts with making individual rye breads and, while they are baking in the oven, continues with a tour around the mill. A good home cooked lunch or dinner in the cozy kitchen makes the package perfect. This was one of the biggest favourites of my group during the whole trip in Estonia.
