Got to remix a few Queen tracks on the original studio mixer. I think I did it better :-) Can't believe they actually wore this clothes

Why? This is my main question after the visit. Why did I found about this place after so many years leaving just 40 km away. Amazing visit for a music lover and even more is you hold a special place in your heart for Queen and Freddie in particular. It took me over 2 hours as I have submerged completely in the atmosphere of this legendary location. I will be taking all my guests there for sure (more occasions for me to visit). I it incredible that the access is free of charge! Wow! Wow!

A must for any queen fan, in fact any music fan. Small museum but superbly done, with the highlight being the recording studio the Freddie Mercury sang his last words !

Fabulous studio contains a lot of info on this band.love queen even more after the visit. It's located inside the casino which is next to beautiful Lake Geneva. It's also near Castle Chillon (a must see castle). Free entry for the studio. Really enjoyed the visit :-)

We visited the experience on New years eve before watching the fireworks over the lake. We stood beside Freddy's statue and drank champagne and toasted him The experience is a worthwhile visit, and shows what a remarkable band Queen was. They are all very talented, not just Freddy. well worth the experience

I was lucky enough to be here on opening night and ask any Queen fan, this place has to be seen.Fan or not this is an insight for all to see and it is free

Our trip was totally devised in order to visit the studio and see the Freddie statue overlooking the lake. A wonderful experience visiting the place where Queen produced some great pieces of work but most importantly where the final album - Made in Heaven was produced and inspired some of those final pieces of artistry which Freddie worked on. A big thank you to Brian for being so generous to share his possessions with us. The tranquility of this place is wonderful and even though we visited during the Christmas period when the Market is being held it was wonderfully relaxing. Uncomparable with the hustle and bustle of the UK at this time of year, after visiting London for the Christmas markets for the last few years this is unbelievably relaxing.

Queen fan or not, this free museum is worth every second, we managed to stay for almost two hours (but then i am a monumental fan) smiles, tears, laughter and sadness this has everything, the main floor of the casino used to be the live recording hall, where not only queen recorded but Bowie, AcDc to name two, it was burnt down when a fan fired a flare into the roof and as it burned and the flames and smoke blew across the water a certain band called deep purple came up with the idea for smoke on the water... packed full of memorabilia, interviews, music and queen history take the time to see it, if not for yourself then for Freddie, and leave a donation on your way out for the mercury phoenix trust

This was one of our best site visits. The memorabiia and interactive studio session is an amazing experience especially standing on the spot that Freddie Mercury recorded his last song.

Visited on our last morning, spent about an hour. It's not large but if you are a Queen fan it brings together lots of bit of information you might not have appreciated. Once inside there is a continuous stream of Queen songs on the play which gets you in the mood. The mixing room at the end is a bit of fun. We were lucky that we had the place to ourselves until the last minute. If you have never tried it for real then playing about with the 8 or so channels on the replica console is fun.

What an atmospheric thing to do if Queen and Freddie inspired you. I saw Queen live in Manchester in 1979 and it remains the best concert I ever went to due to Freddie's phenomenal stage presence and the talent of all the band. To be in the same space where all those fantastic tracks were recorded gave me goose bumps beyond belief. I am also a massive Bowie fan so the atmosphere those studio walls gave me was immense.

Just wandering by and found this place. The experience is interactive and you can have some fun "mixing" some of their songs. We didn't know a lot about Freddie Mercury and Queen and this was a great experience. Free entry.

This is in the casino on the original site of Queens Montreux studio. Lots of memorabilia and music to listen to. The video is really worth watching.

Inside the Montreux casino you'll find this wonderful Queen memorial, where they recorded 7 of their albums, and which they owned from 1979-1996!Firstly you will enter a room which is filled with Queen memorials like instruments, old tapes, costume from their tours, a short film with the band, some of the original handwritten lyrics and loads of other things. There is also a lot of audio guidance to many of the things. The masterpiece is where Queen recorded their albums, the studio itself. Although the board is just a copy, it is quite fantastic to see and to think about all the great songs they made there, and to be able to stand where Freddie sang his last song! You can sit down and mix 2 songs, which was quite fun, and also showed me why I should stick to listening and not producing music :o)It's all for free, and it gave me a great insight to their time in Montreux. If you love Queen or just are fond of music, this is a must see!

This was absolutely fantastic and, amazingly, free! Our eight-year old especially enjoyed getting to try his hand at remixing a couple of Queen songs.
