Slopes in excellent condition, steep and long runs and a wide choice of services, some very nice restaurants. Great access with Sunegga train. The last section to Rothorn sometimes crowded.

Passeio legal com telefericos modernos e seguros. Vistas maravilhosas das montanhas e do matterhorn. A unica coisa é que o klein matterhorn e o gornegrat tem vistas mais bonitas me minha opiniao.Good trip with modern and safe lifts and gondolas. Marvellous views of the mountains and the matterhorn. In my opinion, tough, the klein matterhorn and the gornergrat have netter views. But worth the trip anyway!

Having been to Zermatt several times it never seems to escape me the beauty and vastness of the resort and the excellent pistes available to ski

Classic, awesome views of the Matterhorn. We had perfect weather when we visited. Three part trip - funicular, gondola, cable car.

Take the cable car up to the top and feel the height. There is another cable car which comes up to the top which has great sloops but check the conditions first, because it does not run if it is too windy. Could get very cold up there;-)-

We usually go with the train to the Gornergrat early morning and switch than over to the Rothorn or Trockener Steg.

With Sunnegga and Matterhorn Glacier Paradise it's really a skiers paradise.Down the slopes from the very top down to Zermatt. The only pity is that some days, it depends of the weather, lifts close really early (3.30 p.m.!!).Don't miss slope n. 62, it's a gorgeous black one for great fun!

Rodes the trails in this area daily while on our trip. Great riding with lots of different styles of trails.

Views may not have been quite as good as the Gornergrat, but it sure was close. We hiked from Blauherd down to Sunnegga, and I would recommend spending time around both places and doing some hiking in that area.

it can be climbed just about 3000 meters, i climbed in alone and had a death defying view from the top it was worth the efforts

Started from Zermatt on our first day there. After a bit of a struggle finding the trail head for the Diretissima, we headed up to TuftenAlp and had great views of the Matterhorn the entire way. From Tuftenalp we took the Gamweg (you lose the view of the Matterhorn on that trail) and ascended to Rothorn. Getting to the saddle below Rothorn, you're greeted with an amazing view of the moutnains and glaciers. Had lunch at Rothorn (pretty pricey, just grab a sandwich in town prior to hiking), but had an amazing view. Went back down the Aventurweg, which was a great descent with views of the Matterhorn and challenging in a fun way. Back at TuftenAlp, had a beer just before closing on the deck with views of Matterhorn. Wonderful way to end the day. Took a leisurely stroll down the Wanderweg to get back to town. Signage was excellent once we got on the trail.

went up this mountain as it offers superb views of the Matterhorn.we had lunch at the station half way up and was lucky enough to be there on a day where the clouds had lifted offering panoramic views .

we saw the glacier and the Matterhorn from Rothorn. It was fun getting there via cogwheel train and two lifts. It would have been a very interesting place to walk down from but we were not prepared to do that. People took there bikes up to ride down and their dogs for the walk down. Wish i had more time. another reason to go back.
