Every summer at least one climbing session with my kids. Some of the courses seem to me like mission impossible or adult hanging lost in spiderweb and needs to call 911.But the there are courses now just for smaller kids 8-10 and some for the older ones like me and my wife.A fun place to hang out with kids and family. Some of the zip lines are the longest and wildest we have ever done.

I come to Zermatt every year and the forest fun park is always something I do. This year, I went with American friends and they absolutely loved it! Very friendly and helpful staff, high security as the same system had been installed in numerous other parks and great fun! My friends even wanted to go back the following day.The 12 years old girl had as much fun as her 16 years old or her parents, so it's a place for the whole family :)

This is a zip AND ropes course. The ropes part can be very challenging but there are different courses you can go on. Some are more ropes and some are more zip line. I preferred the courses with more zip lines and my kids preferred the courses with more ropes. Either way, we all had a great time. The safety instructor spoke English well enough and the design of the safety pulley is pretty ingenious. Zipping over rushing water with the Matterhorn in the background is an awesome sight and experience. Everyone in my family loved it. Be warned though, you will use muscles you forgot you had so you need to be in decent shape or you will be sore the next day.

This was a fantastic thing for our family to do during a summer visit. Our 9 and 7 year old climbed and zipped with their dad while I entertained the 2 year old in the sand pit and park. We got there a bit late and had we to leave before the kids were ready to stop. The staff were helpful and lovely.

This is such an amazing park of cool zip-lines and obstacles mixed all in one! I felt very save the entire time. Some of the longer cables go over a river and even a soccer field! There are many assortments of courses that you can try to fit your comfort zone. It's also a great place for kids to have a great deal of fun and will even bring out the inner child in yourself. It was a great value for the price and the owner is a very nice man! I highly recommend going here to have the thrill of your life and getting a great view of the Matterhorn at the same time! Anyone age 4 and up will have a great time here! I will definitely come back again! It is a must to do if you're in Zermatt!

Our family had the most fun day doing the ropes/zipline courses. The adults loved it as much as the kids. Definitely don't miss!

We were looking for something to do on a cloudy, drizzling afternoon and found ourselves at the Forest Fun Park. At first it was just two of the five in our family (17 yr old and 12 yr old boys) that wanted to give it a shot. But when our daughter (also 12) saw the boys having such a good time, she changed her mind and we all went. The staff is very friendly and helpful and speak excellent English. They got us signed-up, geared-up with harnesses and helmets, trained-up on how to use the equipment, and off we went. We all had a great time. As others have said, the idea that we would be on our own through the various courses seemed a little surprising at first from a safety perspective, But once we learned the system and took our test run on the Green course, it was clear that it is very safe, user-friendly system and we had no concerns as we headed off for the more challenging courses. The courses consist of a variety of balancing, climbing and zip-line sections as you weave your way up and down and throughout the fairly large area. The zip lines were the most fun for us, but the balance challenges are also fun testing your nerves and in some cases strength. We were told that the last course, the Black course, would be the most challenging, and it was especially with a trapeze / tire section that took a bit of strength or improvising to get across. It was the perfect duration for us. We all finished with a happy-tired feeling having had a great time, but also maybe a little glad that we did not have another Black course ahead of us!Overall it was a great way to spend a drizzly afternoon in Zermatt, and we thought it was good value for the money considering the length of the adventure and the overall experience.

This was super fun for our family, we visited for a few hours as part of a tour. It is a combination of a rope (cables) obstacle courses with intermingled zip-lining. There is a variety of levels available to choose from. The zip-lines are not overly high, the challenge on these courses is the difficulty of the ropes portions, requiring balance and upper body strength. You are connected to a zip line, while walking across swaying tree trunks, flat trapeze-like swings, nets, criss-crossed wire meshes, etc. at ~30-40 feet above the ground. Very fun if you like that sort of challenge and are physically able to navigate the course.

Our group of 6 really enjoyed the rope park. We had two 7 year old girls and two 10 year old girls in our party. We started on the green course. It was quite challenging, but everyone really loved it! There were a couple of sections that were extremely difficult for the 7 year olds, but with the appropriate support from the adults, they were able to navigate the challenge. After we finished the green course, the adults were "exhausted" (in a good way!), but our kids wanted more. So the kids went on the separate kid section of the park. They really enjoyed the kid section. It was fairly challenging by itself. We received great service from the staff. Since this was the first time at a rope park, they took extra care to make sure we were trained in the appropriate techniques. I would recommend the rope park to anyone with an adventurous spirit!

This adventure park is average in general, the safety and security seem daunting and it's very extreme. Only come here if you have zip lining experience and are never daunted and love long obstacles.

Okay area, very set apart from main town. Good service, but scary for kids (kind of) and looks unsafe (kind of is). If I came back I probably wouldn't come.

Our kids spent 2-3 hours on the ropes trail, and came home gleeful and a little muddy! Much better for them than touring. They have graded levels, and loads of zip lines.

We were travelling in Switzerland with our teenage (and slightly older) children as well as our parents. The kids said they would like to do ziplines in the mountains and our web search showed us the Forest Fun Park, at the south end of Zermatt. When we arrived (with my elderly parents along to watch) we had a great view of the Matterhorn, which is not really obvious from the town. The park was as advertised on their website. The hosts, who spoke very good English and French (and German), were welcoming and very organized. During a 15 minute training session they strapped on our harnesses and safety gear and proceeded to explain how the self-guided tour works. I was a bit sceptical at first; participants link their cable guides onto the safety cables and move through the obstacles and ziplines at their own pace without an attendant. However, the system is simple and we got accustomed to linking ourselves onto the path. I quickly became convinced that the system was safe. I found it very interesting from a technical and planning task. It is certainly necessary to do the Green trail first, so that you get used to manipulating the guide system. The red trail is a bit harder with many obstacles. The Blue trail is mainly fairly long ziplines, and quite easy (assuming one is not afraid of heights). We finally did the Black trail. The website uses the word "bridges" to describe the obstacles. I suppose they are that, but only in the loosest sense; some, like the hanging tires in the black trail, are really hard (especially for a middle age man, like me, whose arm strength to weight ratio is not ideal). Nevertheless, my wife and I as well as most of the kids got through. Overall had a great time for 2 hours (3 full hours might have done me in) and felt that I got my upper body exercise on a trip otherwise dedicated to walking. One word of caution concerns the setup of the path. Once you are linked in there are few exit points so make sure you are up to the challenge. Also, you cannot pass people so if you go with a group best to send the faster more agile members first. As for the people who decide only to watch or quit early, the snack / coffee shop is fine and the sitting area is good (with a great view).

My wife and I visited Zermatt with our three boys and were put off by the crazy prices to go on the Gornegratt railway or go up on the cable car (£60-£80 per head) so we walked through Zermatt looking for something interesting to do away from the hordes of touriss and eventually came across the Forest Fun Park. My 11 year old son loves climbing so he was very excited to find it. My other two boys are 5 and we weren't sure if they'd be able to take part. The place turned out to be brilliant and we ended up staying for about three hours. My 11 year old progressed through and did everything but the hardest course. Pretty challenging and very high. Some of the zip wires were awesome, very very high and very long even going over the river. The smaller boys had a much lower course to go on that took half an hour to go round, the great thing was they could all go again and again until they got bored. Well done Forest Fun Park, we'll be back !
