Absolute must if in Lapland and inghams are brilliant in there service. Helen our rep was brilliant as the nerves kick in as the safety chat is read out. But there's really nothing to worry about push to your left to go left your right to go right and stand on the break if worried about anything it's really that simple. The dogs go crazy when you arrive just wanting to get out there and once you are out there it is peaceful and a phenomenal experience !!! Also you get to change drivers half way if you want which I recommend you do.Then after enjoy some drinks and photos and thank the dogs on a great adventure.

Had a fantastic time on this super husky safari. I was well wrapped up and the temperature was only about -20 so didn't feel cold. The dogs were very excited and raring to go when we arrived. Set off across the frozen lake in the midst of some lovely scenery. We both had a chance to drive the sledge, changing over half way through. As you enter the forest on the second part of the journey there is a steep slope where the sled, containing my rather large partner, ground to a halt. Had to jump off the back and push then try and keep up with the dogs, hard work! Maybe the lightest person should go first! Opportunity to take pictures with the dogs, our lead dog was called Crappa, at the end of your trip. Then some hot juice and a heat at the fire in the Kota.

We actually done the super husky safari (can't find it on here to review) transfer to the place was quick when we arrived we were greeted by the noise of the dogs and a very friendly helpful owner who was extremely knowledgable of all the dogs. Feeling slighting nervous about driving the sledge this was soon taken away by the owners relaxed atmosphere. Dogs were very friendly and well behaved. Highly recommend the super safari time of the trip was fantastic not to long but enough to walk away with a trip you will never forget! It's a must do when visiting lapland. A warm fire home made cookies and hot juice was also supplied. All in all a great experience.

This was well organised and great fun. Well worth the money. Having done it I would now pay he extra and do the super safari as you get a lot more time on the sledge. You swap with your partner at the halfway point so you both get to ride and drive.

Yet again a great experience! We done this safari last year (2014) and thoroughly enjoyed it, so wanted to do it again this year. It was just as good as last year due to the fact they used a different Safari farm so new guides, different set of huskies and different scenery. It's so beautiful and lots of fun. Unlike some of the people that came on this safari, please make sure you are clothed appropriately to keep warm and enjoy the WHOLE experience. If you feel you need to moan save it for your holiday rep when they do their hotel visit and don't spend the whole time on the trip moaning out loud it's not nice for the other guests who are trying to enjoy themselves! But on a whole amazing! We, as a family, really had a good day.

We actually did the super safari (can't find it on her) but it was great. We were a little apprehensive at first when we were told we'd have our own team and mentioned some of the incidents that might happen, but it was great fun. The dogs were reasonably well behave (apart from the one in the middle who didn't want to stop!). It was a fantastic experience with warm berry juice and home made biscuits in the kota afterwards :-)

Ingham should really tell their customers especially with small children to do the shorter trip. Everyone on our super safari was frozen to the core with no blankets provided to those in the sledges. The children were crying because of the cold and parents were feeling guilty. It was -35 the evening we did this trip wrapped up but it was too long. My husband drove the sledge and he loved every minute!! But i was glad to get back to the fire along with all the other parents defrosting their children!

The mini husky ride was enough but the waiting whilst the others did the super husky ride was a long time, the hut we waited in was very smoky. There was hot juice and biscuits We had a good full introduction and safety information talk to driving the Huskys but we didnt get to meet any of the smaller dogs close up! There were some in a cage we could look at but did not get any information as to why there were there! We went around the grounds and took photos whilst we waited! The" Huskys" were not "Huskys as we know them as "Huskys " in Finnish is Working dogs so they were dogs!!!Good fun though after a long wait!

We went on the mini husky safari with Inghams as their advice was that our children aged 8 and 5 would be too cold on the longer one. As it turned out the temperature was only about -4 but it still gets pretty chilly out on the lake! The kids went in a separate sled with a couple of other children and hubby and I took turns driving our sled, swapping half way round. The mini safari isn't very long but it was still one of the best experiences we had in Lapland. Only thing I would say is that on our trip the mini safari and the longer safari all went to the location at the same time, so we had to sit and wait for the longer safari to come back before we went out. But this did give time for biscuits and hot berry juice by the fire and a chance to see the puppies! Oh, and don't expect the dogs to look like Alaskan huskies, they don't.

I'm so glad we done the super husky rather then the mini. Was very cold so wrap up warm specially if it's snowing. But magical. Ps make sure if you want a go of pushing the huskies you do it first as half way when you swap over there is a huge hill you have to push up which is not great when you have your 16st hubby sitting and two children lol xx

We had a short lesson in how to control the braking of the sled and to stop if necessary. Then suddenly we were streaking round and across a frozen lake and through the woods. Amazing experience.

Brilliant. But too short. We went actually on the husky sledge for approx 10mins. We spent more time in a hut drinking warm berry juice which was nice but it would have been nice to spend longer on the ride.

Went on the super safari which I really enjoyed. The only thing I would say is bring your own shawl to sit on as the one provided on the sleigh smells a bit like wet dog however I guess that can't be helped. The experience was amazing and I would defiantly recommend this to anyone. The staff were lovely and very friendly, the huskies are very outdoor dogs and I would ask the staff before clapping them, some looked friendlier than others. I had the pleasure of clapping one and it was nice to see the pups.

I loved seeing and experiencing the Husky ride, it was just enough. You get to have a warm drink and a biscuit after.

This was a first for a husky ride and it was so special, the only down side was it did not last longer. When the huskies are all harnessed up they just cant wait to go and seem so excited, and once they are released the don't hang about. the largest size of sleigh I saw was pulling three adults and one child without seemingly no effort.
