If you're in Finland, you just cannot afford to miss this place. Although when I went the Santa park was not open but I was still privleged to visit it and see and understand what it is all about. I'm sure during its opening it would be so much more livelier. Kids will just not want to come out of this place. Must Must visit. Can beat Disney experience big time.

Very commercial but Santa was fine. Has very nice voice we talked to him for a while - but all in all - as I have said - business.

My best advise is to head for the Elf school first as this lasts 30 mins and you are only allowcated 2/2.5 hours there on your visit on your package tour. Elf school was fantastic, the little ride is good and the children may want to decorate a ginger biscuit. Don't bother if bug queue though.

Great place! It is an obligatory visit. Enjoy a great time with Santa in his "office". He is amazing!

Dear Apple132,we are sorry that your transport was late and that you had so little time with our elves, especially since the ticket is always valid for two consecutive days. There are many possibility how to get to SantaPark from the Rovaniemi area, including the bus, taxi and reindeer sleigh (you can contact our Elf office for further details). I feel so sorry that nobody wanted to take your official photo - the ice princesses are very kind and love to take a few minutes out of their ice kingdom to pose as well as take pictures with our human guests since this is the only place where you can under-cross the Arctic circle in the world. I see that you took many wonderful pictures and perhaps even selfies with Santa and elfies with elves, since our human guests are allowed to take as many Christmassy pictures with all the magical creatures as they wish. SantaPark is full of wonderful Christmas experiences. You can discover the most importance teachings of the Elves in the Elf School, decorate the most beautiful gingerbread in the Gingerbread bakery, try your craftsmanship in the Elf Workshop and take a ride in the Magic Train. Inside the Ice Princess Ice gallery it is always minus degrees, year round! Together with her you can enjoy the beautiful art work made of ice. And of course there is a joyful Elf show that the whole family can join in. These are just a few to mention to get you into the Christmas spirit. Since we do have so many things to do with only one entrance fee! And many smily faces among the customers visiting us during Christmas. During this time of the year we have plenty of customers arriving to SantaPark every day, but also many many Elves who are doing their absolutely very best to making sure that the premises are nice and tidy. And our Cafe-Elf has all her coffee machines as hot as Mrs Claus´ porridge during the busiest days of Christmas when she is preparing hot drinks to all customers. Luckily she can every now and then pop into Ice Princesses very own Ice Gallery to have a nice frosty break. Take bus number 8 from the city centre to here for around 7€ return. It's free entry & there are different things to see. We were lucky that everyone seemed to be lining up for a ride so the line to seeing Santa was empty. I really loved it because you go into a room where it's just you and Santa so you have no one looking in and you can have a good chat. There is a camera set up so you can purchase photos but you can take your own photos too. The photos are pricey but that's to be expected.
