Have been here many times, its a wonderful place to take a stroll with the kids and the dog.The waterfalls are beautiful and there are some information posts dotted around informing you of otherwise unseen nature.

I have visited the Gortins now for around 45 years and the views from the hills just gets better and better. To see what there is just google Gortin Glen and it will give you a list of activities/facilities

Gorgeous area to enjoy a short - or longer - walk in the countryside. There is also a scenic driving route so the less able can still see the fabulous views.

Beautiful location to get lost, just to get away from the town and enjoy walking along the river/streams and in nature, although be sure to bring bug spray!

Beautiful spot for everyone. Glens is a gorgeous place to visit at all times of the year. The scenic drive is spectacular and the park itself is really well maintained. Kids love to see and feed the ducks and deer

Beautiful scenery, fantastic five mile scenic drive as well as numerous walks and mountain biking trails. Good car park and picnic area. Some of the roads can be a little hairy but it's not as bad as you think.

took an elderly relative who is suffering from dementia here for a drive which relaxed her a lot. might not be good for people who are afraid of heights though as you do get very high up the mountain at some points.

We lived the trip up and although the road can be a bit tricky in places, we navigated it quite comfortably in a car. Breathtaking views of the surrounding area and the forest. There are also picnic and camping areas which we are keen to use when the weather is warmer. Definitely worth the visit.

This is so peaceful, lovely walks round various routes - nice for a picnic too!! It's easy found, plenty of parking - walks for all abilities - from a gentle stroll to a more difficult climb!!

Beautiful for a ramble...great day's stroll. This is common place for school trips but if they are not there is a lovely place for a quiet walk.

loved the scenery and there was absolutely nothing to dislke. It is a little hilly so could not really be visited in snow or slippy weather but other than that beautiful

I use the 4 mile hill circuit for training (it says 5 miles on signs but it is not). Strap on my backpack and go for it. It is a killer fitness trail and is no easier clockwise or anticlockwise. You know you've had a good workout when you get back to the car. The carpark is supposed to be pay and display but I've never been asked or tried to pay.
