You will not see another boat lift like this one anywhere else. Take a short barge trip up and down the wheel and enjoy the experience of modern floating engineering. Of course, there is the retail shop and a very adequate cafe. Ask the staff how to find the Helix Park nd Kelpies to top off your day. The Kelpies are magnificant. If the weather is good, nice areas to enjoy a picnic and watch the boating fraternity going about their business. Nice large car parks at both sides of the attraction.

Very helpful staff and good information.gave us directions to the Kelpies. Lots of leaflets maps etc

This was our second time on the wheel, we really enjoyed it. We found the staff friendly. We took two pensioners with us who also enjoyed it. Had lunch in the cafe which was nice too.

Given this is 'the' Information Centre for Falkirk, which now has 3 major tourist attractions (Falkirk Wheel, Callander Park House and the Kelpies), it is way too small. Location would be much better back in town centre. Staff were friendly enough.

I could take the leaflets myself as well - I did not ask for them! I had to ask people outside instead for direction.

Lots of items on sale of a distinctive Scottish theme and with local crafts. A good range of books for sale and plenty of leaflets on local cycle and walking routes. Busy staff with lots of experience therefore and plenty of leaflets and adverts for local events.

Świetne miejsce na niedzielny wypad z rodzina.:-) Plac zabaw dla dzieci,miejsce na grilla,zabawy na wodzie z panem instruktorem,duza przezroczysta piłka w której mozna biegać po wodzie.przejażdżka po kanale,oraz wiele innych ciekawych rzeczy.Dorośli mogą odpocząć restauracja na miejscu sklep z pamiątkami.:-) polecam Falkirk Wheel.
