A friendly golf course which i was a member at .. lack of club facilities made me go elsewhere . challenging course for a higher handicapper. Gary who run the shop is a great guy .. i would still recommend this club even tho it has no Clubhouse but there are plans for one which are on going .. give the course a chance

visited this course recently as a 4 ball , was amazed at the attitude of the manager in the porta cabin , he reminded me of basil in fawlty towers , if this course becomes a success it will not be because of him , the guy could care less about our opinion on the state of the course , there are no facilities ,the car park is just hard core and full of potholes, there was serious drainage work going on for about 3 holes which you cant really play.this could be a great wee course but the guy behind that desk needs to go to charm school.

This is a great course just off M8 motorway, which will challenge everyone whether low or high handicap. The fairways and greens are well kept and in excellent condition especially the greens which run fast. The staff are very helpful and polite especially the course manager Gary, who took the time to talk us through the course. i would definately recommend a game on this course its worth the money and they also do special deals, although there is no club house at present one is due to be built in the near future

I played this course when it first opened and it was decent considering this. I played it again today and it really has went backwards. The condition of the fairways, especially, holes 10, 11 and 12 were awful - dozens of badly constructed drainage channels through the middle of the fairways made it feel more like crazy golf than anything else. The tees are overgrown but to be fair most of the greens were in decent nick. Overall I found this course of poor quality with no facilities and overpriced.

On approach to the porta cabin club house you could be forgiven for thinking the course attached would be of a similar standard. But having played this course recently I have nothing but positive things to say. Firstly the course itself is a mix of parkland and links holes varying in difficulty and I openly invite low handicappers to try this course. The fairways leave little room for error and are immaculately maintained and the greens are some of the best in the west of Scotland. Each hole is designed to be completely different which is something I really enjoyed. Not to mention it is situated in the heart of north Lanarkshire making it accessible from practically every town in the area. The staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough to accommodate us, the only point I would make is due to the varied layout of each hole it was difficult the distinguish the way to the next tee from the previous green, apart from that I thoroughly enjoyed the course. Would recommend.

On arrival we went into the office/porta cabin, while the person behind the desk eating his sandwich and totally ignoring us we had to interrupt him and ask about our booking,he checked nothing and just pointed to the first tee,he did not even check to see if we had paid or not.The course itself is not bad but could be a lot better some of the greens are pitiful and some of the fairways are in need of some TLC.i FOR ONE WILL NOT BE BACK ,until the course imptoves.

Where to start? The golf club SO CALLED Manager, is the most obnoxious person I have ever met, with him golf club booking rules goes out the window,we booked a tee off time and when we arrived he told us that a large party had booked the same day so he told us in no unsertan manor P**s off.The course is ok the greens ok but there is a lot of litter all over the course & broken tees all over the tee areas, there was no one picking up the litter or broken tees. Also there is no catering facilities.Again I must state the golf club Manager is not a nice person if he was on a REA golf course then he would be sacked. Plus the cost of a four ball is execive for a bud unkempt course.
