Room where wedding took place good size, bright and welcoming, bar area again a good size. Meal area was well laid out, food was good. Only complain acoustics terrible, family had a DJ supplied by hotel as wedding package no one could hear a thing. Ear defenders required.

We were married at Deer park back in September and would highly recommend - the staff were amazing in ensuring everything ran smoothly and keeping us updated on events throughout the day. The venue was stunning for the wedding and food fantastic aswel! All our guests had a great time. Both myself and my sister got married here recently and we could not have asked for anything more! Natasha was absolutely brilliant throughout and everything we asked for was no problem at all. Great food, great reception, great prices - overall two amazing weddings! Thanks Deer Park!

Went with friends for a bowl and dine night. Menu on a bit of paper slapped down on the table in front of us. When ordering they just marked the menu rather than noting what we wanted as is done in most other restaurants. Food was incredibly basic but now awful, was hot and nicely presented. We felt hurried baby the staff who wanted us out as fast as possible rather than being a nice dining experience to chat with friends. Dessert was chocolate cake or nothing! No other choice. We asked for tea and was directed to a vending machine!!! Really vending machine tea and coffee in a so called restaurant! The bowling was great and would definitely recommend that but in future will go elsewhere for a nice meal somewhere else first.

This course has greatly improved. Possible to get reduced green fees. Challenging course especially 14 / 15 th.

We had a children's bowling birthday party here and the kids all had a great time. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, and we were all very well looked after. Everything is kept very clean and it was all very good value for money. Would definitely recommend and will also return.

Have recently picked up the interest in bowling and been coming to deer park a few times over the last month. Burgers etc were nice. Balls in pretty good condition compared to other places and the lanes have very few faults compared to others too (pins don't disappear randomly or fall when placed down like others). Being that I am not the biggest of guys and have fairly large thumbs, I'd like to see some size 8 or 9 balls with larger holes drilled. 1 other thing I think would improve it is for reception staff to not be sitting eating a dinner plate of food when serving customers. There should be a staff room available for that. Otherwise, I'm a regular visitor now.

Gym was well stocked with everything I would need, was very quiet for 10am on a Sunday which was great! When i was signing in the reception staff were warm and very welcoming.

Sunday the 7th Sept we held our companies annual golf day and from start to finish the guys at Deer Park could not be more helpful , weather was great and the course was a very high standard and presented in fantastic condition . Its a must visit for any keen golfer looking for great experience of Scottish parkland golf ( Greens top class & very fast ) . Thanks to the whole team for making the day a great success.

Attended my Cousins lads wedding and I must say the day went really well, much due to the great organisation of the staff who with their great professionalism made the day run very smoothly. The meal and late buffet were excellent. I cannot give it greater praise than to say my wife and I did not want to leave. Well done.

Myself and my husband got married here in July 2014. We had an amazing day and felt everything was extremely well organised and well planned. We had a lot of say in how the day was to run, including timings, meal choices, drinks, decorations, music etc. Our wedding planner was fantastic and on constant beck and call for whenever we needed information about the day/the planning. The day ran smoothly and everything we had asked for was done for us. The hall was decorated beautifully by the staff. The complimentary flowers were stunning, and the outdoor gazebo/stand was similarly decorated for the photos. The staff on the day were extremely friendly, helpful, and understanding to complaints regarding the temperature of the hall (it was probably the hottest day in July). The food was amazing and catered for all preferences/ages and food allergies. The atmosphere of the day was fun and laid back, as well as incredibly well planned and organised, and the feedback from our guests was extremely positive with many people saying we set the bar high for future weddings!The only small snag of the day was when myself and my father were being driven to the building for the 'bridal entrance', but the driver couldn't work out how to get to the entrance (there's a customer car park, then a delivery/taxi entrance). My father and I realised we couldn't instruct the driver on where to go as we didn't know ourselves how to get there! This was perhaps a fault of the driver, ourselves for not asking, or the staff for not clarifying But just to warn you in case you don't know where it is, it's a separate road off the roundabout and not the seemingly main road (best to ask staff for details). The result was a slightly clumsy walk through the gravelled customer car park and the omission of photographs of the car. Overall however, we had an amazing day. The price was excellent and very good value. We chose deer park partly due to the fact a lot of other wedding venues seemed a little insincere about prices, and couldn't give a straight answer about anything price-wise. With the fear of being ripped off, we were chuffed that deer park have a no-nonsense list of package prices with clear descriptions of what you're purchasing for the day. And due to the fact we had a fantastic wedding planner (part of any package), the whole planning process was as easy as it could have been. Would definitely recommend!

We have been here for Bowling (Ten Pin) and we also held our sons wedding here.The bowling is very good, the staff are friendly and the services good.The wedding went well. Organised well by the staff there and the facilities were great. They realy made us feel welcome and the staff could not do enough for us.Well priced and plenty of choice.
