This is a wonderful Park to visit and walk around. It has plenty of Swans, Canadian Geese and even more Ducks. It also has a Maze to visit. It's Car Park is free to park. This park is well worth visiting.

Lovely country park to wander a number of walks round various lakes generally pretty good paths and acess to the river and Cardington lock. You can also acess route 51 which is a cycle and walking path that goes all the way from Bedford to Sandy mainly alongside the river. There is a Marina next to the park, and a Beefeater pub and a Premier inn. It is about a mile and a half from bedford town centre. Lovely well kept and pleasant place to be. Worth a visit!

A hidden gem for Bedford is Priory Country Park - it has extensive walks that take you all around the Bedford countryside and the bike ride along the cycle route to Sandy is well worth the experience - there are good places to refresh along the way - the Danish camp for one - and if you come back to your start the Priory Marina is a welcome site for refreshment after a walking or bike trip.

It seemed that every thing we ordered they had run out of, no bacon, no eggs, no drinking chocolate. It has put us of going again for a meal, we do have coffe there at the weekends after our walk. (That providing the coffee machine has not broken down!!!)

Great for an afternoon out.Lots of open space with clear paths laid out around the lake. Lots of bird life to be seen on and around the lake. It's easy to explore along the river, or return for a drink at the Beefeater next to the car park. Car parking easy and ample.

We took several walks around the marina over Christmas, it seemed the only people out were fellow dog walkers. Very pleasant and look forward to walking as we near spring.

A pleasant walk, lots of variety of habitat, plenty of bird life to look out for. Good parking. Only letdown by the number of dogs running free off leads.

Peace, quiet and oasis in a town. Long and short walk. Don't come expecting adventure, come and chill

This is a great little facility in the middle of Bedford providing peace and tranquility, and nature. Great for strolling, running, and many other activities.

Lovely place to walk, run, bike, bird watch, loiter in the sun. A real asset to the area. and it has an information centre, decent enough toilets and loads of information on the boards.

You can't do any better than a walk round the lake, especially with those who you care about. Then a drink or meal at the restaurant.
