I tried and tested the wines from Stanlake Park, and have to say they are very good. I also bought several bottles as corporate gifts and received the same feedback. The shop also offers a great range of other home made products. Love the jams.

On our wine-tasting tour we were lucky to be with a fun group and in the hands of an engaging and knowledgeable guide. This tour isn't stuffy yet gives a brilliant insight into English wine production. Everyone came away with a new awareness of the quality that can be had in English wine. We tasted 8 wines and most people were walking or had lifts which is essential!! Little nibbles and the chance to buy from the shop at the end but no hard sell.

I visited Stanlake Park with a friend on a Sunday afternoon. It was not busy, so staff had time for a very nice chat and we could taste a few of their wines. Highly recommended! Their gardens are lovely and a gorgeous spot to have your picnic and sip on your wine.

We have just completed a private tour and tasting for a group of 35 oldies. Ruth, our guide, was excellent. The tour was light-hearted and down-to-earth. We sampled as we toured the winery, stopping at each stage of the process to sample a different wine and have a sensible discussion about the wines and the intricacies of making wine in England in general and at Stanlake Park in particular. I would suggest eating beforehand, as there is no food on the premises, and probably not driving afterwards unless you've only have 'drivers' samples'. There can't be many English vineyards with so many varieties of wine. You should find a photo of us on their Facebook page shortly.

This is a great trip to find out about (and taste!) English wine. The Stanlake Park wines are delicious and the tour is light-hearted, full of useful information and well-lubricated...

Great day, tour guide excellent as is the product. Well worth a visit and as you will discover English wine is not to be scoffed at. Would recommend catching the train, very generous portions.

We celebrated a birthday with a private tour and tasting for 20 friends in early June. Ruth's informative, entertaining and engaging delivery, together generous samples of great wines, ensured that fun was had by all. All our group loved the completely unpretentious presentation; we felt that we learned lots during the afternoon whilst having a brilliant time in a beautiful setting and we will be back - in fact some have already returned!

Visited this weekend with friends. Ruth was a great guide. Her delivery was great....she didn't sound like she had delivered it however many times before. The whole session was very relaxed and down to earth and our whole group enjoyed it.

We took the tasting tour early May 2014, and it exceeded expectations. Whilst touring the vineyard & winery we tasted 7 white wines 2 of which were sparkling and 1 red. Our guide Ruth explained the wine making process from start to finish in an excellent, knowledgable, non-stuffy & amusing manner. We finished the tour sitting in the walled garden enjoying the sunshine over a glass of red wine and snacks - a perfect end to the afternoon. There's the opportunity to buy any of the wines we'd tasted, along with some food and wine accessories. All in all a great afternoon.

I visited Stanlake with a group of friends from our running club. We all really enjoyed the experience and loved learning about the wine. The whole tour was done in a non pretentious, get down to the hard facts manner and I feel I am now greatly enlighten upon English wine.I thought myself as a 'red drinker' only, however this tour was mainly whites/sparkling. This was a concern until I tried the wines and found they catered very much to my taste which appears to be a dry palate. At the end of the tour there was an opportunity to buy wines etc from the shop. We purchased some port as well as biscuits which we very much enjoyed once we got home.Even the terrible weather seemed to add to the experience! I will be returning here to guy gifts for friends and family and perhaps another tour as you get 9 glasses for a very resemble price!

A lovely afternoon at Stanlake, taking a tour of the vineyard and winery. Ruth was a fantastic hostess, who provided a really interesting, informative tour, pitched perfectly at our varied group - from novices to the more experienced vineyard-goer. All helped along by some very generous samples of a wide range of the local wines - white, rose, red and English sparkling (about 7 or 8 wines - I lost count!). We then stayed on in the beautiful walled garden in the gorgeous April sunshine, finishing our samples, and trying some of the local cheeses and other local goodies available in the shop. You can just go to the shop/garden, and buy wine by the bottle/glass and the food goodies, without doing the tour, but the tour was great value and I'd highly recommend it. As others have said, make sure you don't drive! It's reachable on foot/by taxi from Twyford.

We have visited this lovely Vineyard many time over the last 5 years. We like the setting, within a walled garden to enjoy some good wines in a civilized environment. The sparkling offerings, are very nice as are most of the other whites. However what is really off putting is manner of the sole, young bar tender / shop attendant, who is strange to say the least, there is a reluctance to offer a tasting, or open a bottle of wine even when you want to buy a glass. It makes you leave feeling like an inconvenience, rather than a paying customer.

Visited Stanlake park winery for a private tour and tasting as part of a friends Hen celebrations. Ruth did a fantastic tour - really informative without getting too technical, with plentiful wines to taste along the way! Would definitely recommend a visit!

Fantastic Sunday activity in Twyford. Great guide, very knowledgeable and fun. Learnt so much about English wines that we never knew. Very generous on the tasting, so don't do what I did and drive, either Taxi or walk from train station. Really worth a visit to Stanlake Park for buying some great wines and do the tour if available.Vingård i England.
