We arranged a weekend in Portsmouth as a birthday treat for our 13 year old grandson. He planned his itinerary with great care and we enjoyed all the attractions on offer at the Historic Dockyard. The highlight was the guided tour of Victory. The tour guide - David -.was knowledgeable, humorous and entertaining. He made the history of the ship come alive. Our grandson was totally enthralled with the visit. Thanks you for providing such great value for money too. We will be back so One!

This was the highlight of the trip to Portsmouth. The tour round the ship was fascinating. The tour guide was excellent - she presented the facts in a really accessible and humorous way, and even was able to engage with a couple of little kids who were in the group, which is not that easy with this sort of subject. She was really knowledgeable, and her style brought it all to life brilliantly.

An iconic piece of English heritage that we can all touch, feel and experience. It is an honour to walk in the footsteps of those men that fought and died for king and country. The sheer size and craftsmanship that hand built this huge ship is awe inspiring. Well worth an hour of your time.

We chose to go on a guided tour for this ship and were really glad we did. It gave us a chance to understand how hard it must have been for the men who lived and worked on there. The guide was very informative and had a good sense of humour; making the tour very interesting.

Just intrigued with this ship - still commissioned in the Royal Navy. Apart from DeathWatch Beetles, what more could we want.

This was a great tour of HMS Victory! Takes about an hour but you go all over the ship with a tour guide who is there to explain everything! It's a real experience and shouldn't be missed!

After my partner had been on a guided tour a few years back which was he felt was brilliant and exciting given by a passionate guide we were all looking forward to our tour this time, The ship is incredible and the history behind it was fascinating but the toyr we felt was rushed and the guide lacked the passion that my partner had previously seen, he was suplimenting the dialogue with bits he could remember from his last visit. Apart from that it was well worth going , just wished we could have wondered around ourselves like we did whilst looking around HMS Warrior prior to the Victory tour , which was also fascinating and very enjoyable. The work being done at the historic docks is wonderful , it is very humbling to see and be able to walk around see and touch our history. The Mary rose museum was incredible also.

This is the second time we have visited. Last time you walked around by yourself now it is guided. I suspect there was a bit of health and safety issues with trips and banged heads. It was nice to have a guide who told you about everything and demonstrated things but there wasn't very much time to stop and look at things. Still enjoyed it though and we'll worth the money to see this part of British history.

Really enjoyed this trip as the guided tours at the moment appear to be mandatory as they are replacing the main sail so you can't just wander around but we visited all decks and actually the tour was brilliant ! Such an interesting ship so well done, it gets quite dark and cold so wrap up warm unless going in the summer but really good fun.

Last October I had the opportunity to spend a week in England. This was my first visit and although I managed to actually see the queen at the Tower of London and many other amazing things, touring the Victory was at the very top of the list of things I saw and did. The history of the ship and it's immaculate condition make it a very worthwhile thing to see. Watch your head though going through the ship!

We were at a private party and during the evening we were given a tour of the Victory. It is amazing. What a fabulous ship. We learned all about life on this ship, good and bad. Hard life on board.We learned where the expressions "cat o nine tails", "tow rag", "three square meals a day all came from"!Well worth a visit. It was spooky in the dark but great fun. The chap who showed us round was really superb. We all had coats on and he did the tour in his uniform, white shirt, no jacket. Brrrrr!
