Guy was indeed superb.....just a dream of a tour for those who love Chase and all it stands for. So great to see such a small enterprise reach such heights from one small(ish) farm. Came head heavy with fantastic goodies.....really wonderful start to a magic weekend ! Go... Do.... Paul

Went with a group of girlfriends and stayed in Hereford overnight. Drove there and parked in the car park. Sat Nav took us there fine although they are still working on the signage from the road.Met the rest of the group and out tour guide Guy. Lovely chap and obviously passionate about his job. Made us very welcome and gave an interesting chat about the history of Chase over a couple of tasters. He then took us on a tour of the distillery and answered our many questions. Finished up back where we started and tasted quite a few more (lost count). Got a great deal on buying some to take home too. I would really recommend this to anyone who likes Vodka or knows anyone who does. Guy was great fun and it was a brilliant afternoon out.

We received a gift voucher to the Chase Distillery from friends, so headed off to Herefordshire to join a tour. We were made very welcome on arrival whilst we waited for all to arrive. The tour was an absolute gem. It was fun, informative without being stuffy and you get to see everything. Our guide was brilliant, he answered all questions and presented the whole tour with humour and passion for the products. We were invited to taste the products before and after the tour and there was the opportunity to buy with a discount via the tour ticket. We were not sure what to expect, however, we had the most enjoyable two hours, thank you.

Booked the tour as a present and loved how the voucher came. A great tour and guide. A quick intro and straight into a couple of tastings! We were given a very informative explanation of the processes, products and bottling line around the distillery before finishing for more tastings. Throughly enjoyed and love the original principles of production. Thanks for a great day!

Visited with friends for the 3 o'clock tour. We were greeted by Guy , a great host and tour guide, after a quick intro we tasted a couple of spirits before the tour. Guy gave a very informative explanation of the processes and different products during the walk around the distillery before finishing back in the shop/reception for a full tasting session of all the chase products, with fever tree mixers. Great value and all credit to chase for sticking to their original principles of production. For those that drink gin and vodka you will know how good the products are. Thanks guy for a great day and for the post tour session at the Verzon.

Bought four vouchers for the tour at a cost of £100. There were six in total for the tour. Nice tasting session, very informative prequel and a equally good tour. Final tasting session was excellent. Bought a total of eight bottles ( in excess of £200, even after the voucher discounts). Subsequently found that the price we had paid was much higher than the price of certain 'off the shelf ' bottles of Chase Gin and Vodka in Waitrose. Regarding this, I sent an email to 'Chase' (because they said that they were so approachable, even Will Chase had his email address on the product...ASK WILL at will@williamschase.co.uk ) This was before Christmas on the 21st December, pointing out this bitter taste anomally, but unfortunately it is now 6th January and...no reply. Hnmmm! and Grrrrr!

Myself and my girlfriend went on the distillery tour yesterday and really enjoyed it, Guy is a great bloke and explained everything about the company and their principles very well. It was very interesting to see the various stages of the process (which they do completely start to finish on the farm!) and then have the tasting session later to try all the different flavours and types of spirit they produce. All in all a very pleasant experience and can highly reccommend it to everyone! Really look forward to visiting the shop again soon too, the marmalade and rhubarb vodkas are really good!Cheers Guy and good luck to everyone at Chase with your future ventures!

What a great tour and insight into what I have to say is one of the finest vodkas I have ever tasted. Guy was an excellent tour guide and very entertaining through out. Thoroughly recommend this venue as an excellent insight into the local world of distilleries, a great afternoon had by all.

Guy was an excellent tour guide. We started off with a welcome and taster of 2 neat spirits - one potato based and the other apple. We were then given a thorough and informative tour of the distillery to show us the complete process to bottling. Guy was very friendly and receptive to questions. One or two quirky sights on the way - not least the deep sea diving kit.We finished up with a mass tasting of gins, vodkas, cocktail, liqueur and even wine from their chateau in the Luberon. They also supplied Fever Tree tonic and ginger beer mixers. With a most reasonable discount on offer we bought several bottles, which as you'll know are beautiful works of art in themselves - congrats to the marketing team. Even though the tasting cups are small, Guy was happy to give refills so you could have a proper taste of as much as you want - no doubt within reason! We can thoroughly recommend the tour which is well worth the price. Suggest you go by train and taxi.

We visited on a pre-booked tour at the advertised time and found a warm welcome from Guy our tour guide. He was very knowledgable not he subject and quite entertaining. The tour was fairly small scale and intimate - but this really worked to Guy's strengths as host and the nature of the distillery. The tour lasted for around 80 minutes. There were ample opportunities to ask questions and find out more about the process and provenance of the product.I had myself seen the products for sale and from here wanted to find out more about the provenance of them, and I am pleased I did join the tour.Word of warning - book in advance as they can only accommodate 10 per tour and they only run 2 tours on a Friday each week. The tour culminates in a tasting session at the bar - where by you can pretty much try any of their spirits with or with out mixers. This lets you contrast the different products and appreciate the variation possible from the core base spirit. The cost of the tour also allows you to get a £10 discount on any purchases at the shop when you spend more then £20.Most definitely worth a visit if you are in the area and appreciate a spirits based drink.

Joined friends after their tour of the distillery for ( lots of ) tasting. It was splendid, scrumptious, slightly surreal and simply splendid. Rhubarb Vodka, Marmalade Vodka, Elegant Gin all divine.

We felt like we’d had a bit of a brain-wave when we decided to buy my Father-in-law a trip around Chase distillery for Fathers Day, with siblings chipping in money to spend in the shop, post tour, but when we did the tour with him we were blown away. I think we all like to see a bit of true British heritage, and this certainly did us proud. The tour was thoroughly informative, and great fun (we were with a group of around 14), and our tour guide, Tom, did a fantastic job of explaining the history, the practicalities of the process, the strength of the brand, the various products….and we were all excited about having such a fabulous local brand by the time we had finished! The tour started and finished with plenty of samples and I think it is safe to say that everyone enjoyed every minute. A thoroughly different, but delightful day. Can’t wait to bring some more friends and family. Well done to all involved – we’d thoroughly recommend it.

This was the highlight of our week in Hereford, what an amazing tour. The information was spot on and the passion of our tour guide(Lorna) kept you interested in what she was saying..Love the family feel to this place and hope they have great success in all they do as they are working very hard to create the image they deserve.Well and truly worth a visit. They even opened up the shop for us the following week when we were on our way home as we had drank some of there amazing rhubarb vodka the night before.
