Incredibly impressive on the inside. The architecture is impressive even for today's standards let alone during tudor times. Worth a visit to Bradford on Avon to see the barn alone.

Worth seeing as part of a day out, don't plan to spend a day there though. Surrounding area is lovely though.

Old 14th century barn located alongside the canal. The barn has timber roof trusses. There are explanation boards giving info on the roof.

Impressive Tithe Barn. The medieval rafters are completely preserved with original floors. The size of the building is substantial. It is free to visit and there are two informative panels to read . Child friendly place, there is playground nearby, ducks and swans to feed by the river.

It`s the beautiful way it has been constructed and the sense of skill and craftsmanship that went into it`s making.

the tithe barn is in fantastic condition and very well maintained. Fantastic acoustics in there :) A must if you are in the area.

This is a fantastic example of a tithe barn from the Mid / Late Medieval Period- It shows the power of the Church in Medieval England at that time. The roof is a fantastic example of the advanced building techniques of the day - The fat that it has stood for 700 years is a testament to that !.

An interesting stop en route nice area. Good for history buffs wouldn't head for it as the only itinerary

A group of nicely restored and preserved buildings. Gives one a good idea of what the place was like 7 hundred years ago. A few art and trinket shops in the complex will keep the kids and ladies happy too.

Well worth a visit when in Bradford on Avon. The barn is large with an impressive roof, a great door and fabulous beams. On a hot day it's cool inside and when the light shines through the appetites in the walls it is stunning. The Tithe Barn is close to the canal, there are some interesting small shops around and lovely walks by the river or canal. If you have young children there are play grounds close by and a paddling area by the bridge. The tithe barn is wonderfully preserved and set in a great location especially in the summer when you can have a picnic by the river

It was really just that,an interesting building, the size of the thing amazed us, the construction of the roof supports on such a scale was with looking at,if that kind of thing is of interest.

This is one of the best preserved single span tithe barns in the country. A truly awesome building and it's even free to enter. It is set in a lovely location between the river Avon and the K&A canal. Adjacent are a variety of interesting buildings that house cafes, specialist shops and the rowing club.

not a lot to look at as its empty, the roof beams look really good, it you just look at the building you would be there for half an hour tops.

The huge, historic Tithe Barn sits in a very pretty area for picnics on the grass. Lots of families were there on the day we stopped. There's a place to buy ice cream and across the parking area is a row of nice art and craft shops. Parking can be very tricky on a busy day.
