Fantastic and informative place to visit, a well stocked shop to purchase fossils and other unusual items, the museum to look around, and children's activities, all in a very relaxed and friendly environment, we have just been on one of the fossil hunting trips locally and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and I would definitely recommend this to others as it would appeal to young and old alike :)

We went on a fossil finding expedition on King's Dyke nature reserve nr Peterborough with Jamie (owner of FossilsGalore) and one of the staff from the project. They were really enthusiastic andn knowledgeable. My 5 year-old was really excited and although we travelled hours to get there he said it was well worth going. We got a great haul of fossils to take home. Information leaflets and experts on hand. Good value for money too. Find of the day was a vertebrae of a Jurassic therapod (eg t-rex) ! Awesome !!!

you think you are going to look round a lovely shop full of fossils but its so much more. We took our two grandsons aged 10 and 9 - we searched for fossils and had all the information about the ones we found. Then we broke a geod again with expert help. It was a great afternoon very reasonably priced and granny joined in!!!!! All the staff were friendly and welcoming - there is even a cafe - would recommend this to anyone young and old. Lots to see and do.

Good range of products stocked. Shop a bit cluttered, enjoyed looking round. Range of activities for children which is good especially during the school holidays a there is not to much for children to do in the town.

What a great place to look at and buy all kinds of fossils. My son got a few great pieces from there.

My daughter and my friend took me to Fossils Galore for my birthday and we had a great time looking at the the crystals and fossils, we were made to feel so welcome and the people were so interesting to talk to. We would recommend a visit and even tho we came all the way from Northamptonshire to visit we will definitely be going again. Well worth the travel.

Visited this shop for an activity session we had booked for the kids. Loads of different rooms with fossils of all shapes as sizes. Very informative staff on hand to answer your questions. Nice little tea room upstairs. Worth a vist.

Took our daughter and her friend as they had been looking at fossils at school. They had a great time, particularly digging for fossils in the sand pit. Staff were friendly and it was good value for money. We will go back again.

Activities are around £2.50 each. The shop sells toys mostly around £1-£4 and up so caters for all budgets, you know you aren't paying too much for items from the shop like you can at other places. The kids relay enjoy it, while not as slick as a major attraction that has loads of money they have really come up with some nice ideas that the kids really enjoy and the Starr were really friendly too.

My six-year-old daughter and I really enjoyed visiting Fossils Galore today. We did the fossil hunting, crystal hunting, and geode smashing activities which were fab. We were also talked through the display exhibits and shown rhino horns and bones in the 'work in progress' room where recently found fossils are cleaned and prepared. We both had a great time, the staff were very enthusiastic, patient and knowledgeable and spent a lot of time with us. We bought some great fossils and crystals from the shop to add to my daughter's collection and she wants to go on one of the organised digs next month. For children of school age who are interested in fossils it's a real find. We are looking forward to going back soon!

Really enjoyed visiting Fossils Galore today. A very enthusiastic man showed us around and shown us some interesting fossils and bones. Slight Aladdin's Cave feel about it, as there are lots of rooms at the back to explore.
