门票是年票,所以一定会回来,很有趣,可以让你开拓眼界,真的很值得再来这里。这里的特色就是,适合所有年龄段和品位的人群,都可以在这里找到自己想要的东西。

距离上次我来这家博物馆已经有几年了,但是这边现在又有新花样出来了!如果你是第一次来,一定要来参观这家博物馆。这边有一条布满鹅卵石的小道,小道上是各种各样的商店等等,你步行所经过的地方有种时光穿梭的感觉,代表了各种不同的生活水准。你需要抽出三到四个小时的时间来走这条路,最好是在雨天哦!

适时地回到这里,看看你是否还能记起小时候的事情。这里的陈列设计地很好,抓住了所有多年前的东西,老旧的鹅卵石街道以及旧商店。我们真的很喜欢这里。一家人的话,可以在咖啡厅里休息片刻。非常棒。

这家博物馆让我喜欢的是你可以在那里度过整整一天,因为有太多可以看,可以玩儿的东西了。's Prison),Dick Turpin在被绞死之前曾囚禁此处,你可以坐在他之前所呆的牢笼里,他在那里等待着自己的命运。博物馆的每一部分都是一个不同的时期,从中世纪直到狄更斯时代,还有两次世界大战期间,这里甚至有一条十八世纪的重建街道,沿路走过去,配有声效,模拟一天从早到晚,街灯亮起来,声效的感觉像是下起了雨。这里真的是一个参观的好地方。

This museum is full of brilliant displays and hands on fun! It completely surrounds you with history and makes you feel like you could actually have gone back in time. Don't leave york without visiting this place!

The main thing that I got from the visit was the museum showed how little medicine and health treatment had changed very little right up until the 1950's. It was also funny to see my childhood toys in a museum. don't miss the First World War exhibition, altogether great value at £10 entry. This is a full 1/2 day visit, smaller children might get a little bored

Lots to see and all extremely interesting, including the Victorian Street and the Sixties Exhibition. Nostalgia for those born in the 40's & 50's or anyone interested in this era. The WWI exhibition is a must to go and see, a real eye opener for people interested in family history like me. You do need to take the time to read as much of the descriptions of items and documents to really appreciate what it must have been like at the time, especially for those fighting in France. The prison is not to be missed as they bring some of the past inmates to life, a bit of a shock when you first walk in to see a projected figure on the wall talking to you, but an excellent idea and they definitely bring the prison to life.

Really enjoyed the experience. The authentic Victorian street was fascinating. Would definitely recommend but don't underestimate the amount of time you will spend here. We didn't find it till mid afternoon which really didn't leave enough time.. We only saw half of it. Fully intend to go back later this year and take more time/do the other side.

I last visited in 2000 !!!, & I remembered visiting from when it opened to when it closed. There was so much to see then etc. Hours & hours of endless things. Plus the café was in the centre then, so when your feet were killing you, you could stop & rest & take a bite to eat. I see the ' cradle to grave ' is still there, & of course the oldey worldy Victorian street, which i love so much, but i feel things are missing & too much cutbacks these days. My boyfriend was disappointed too as i was saying how brill it was , he was not happy with the war experience, thought it was boring, not much going on . What a shame its all changed

The result of years of reasearch and collection gives us this fabulous musuem which is the crown jewel of York. Only £10 aswell which seems very good value as the displays are very extensive and authentic. The prison is breathtakingly realistic as are the actors who portray people from that era. A must see in York.

Well laid out and very informative exhibits. 60's and 70's exhibits took us back to our childhood. Excellent value for money

There's something for everyone - a good amount of history and education whilst still being entertaining. We couldn't believe how long we spent looking round and will definitely come back on our next trip to York. Would recommend to anyone and it's fantastic value for money.

My wife and I spent a very interesting 2 hours in the Museum, we could have stayed a lot longer if time had allowed. Well worth a visit. There is just so much to see.
