26 of us went for my stag do Saturday 7th March. We went on a Stag package involving free tuition, free drink and free bet. It was simply brilliant and I thoroughly recommend this casino out of all the ones in Nottingham. Based on location, size of venue, helpfulness of staff and general atmosphere.Out of the 26 we were able to organise a private cash game with 17 of us in which Alea happily provided dealers for a small fee to cover costs (which we happily paid). Drinks were reasonably priced and it wasn't so overcrowded that you felt uncomfortable. There is a restaurant literally behind the bar with quality food. Be prepared for a fantastic night if you book this.

I went there for a drink with friends had a bit of a gamble won and stayed for drinks, the bar staff were really nice and friendly. There's a range of events to enjoy and its a brilliant venue

What can I say, they are all the same, whatever the brand, same lighting, same design, although I can't imagine why Marco Pierre White has a restaurant in here. Would you go for an expensive meal in the back of a casino? Mind boggling!

Tip top night the wife and I attended which if not the best its up there with them and we have had some great nights out over the years......On a school night may I add! Reception and security extremely friendly and helpful upon arrival to start the evening followed by a few cheeky whiskey sours around a very welcoming bar. Served by a very welcoming and highly focused and capable bar team. Whilst busy very attentive with little waiting. Professionally approached and directed by a delightful team of event management staff who took care of us throughout the whole experience to which nothing was a problem this included the service of a fantastic three course dinner with beef to die for! Well that's enough about the staff and experience which they enabled everyone attending have a great evening of support for Matt Goss from the all the team including the Venue Director. The man himself Matt Goss and the Vegas set he did was a legendary unforgettable experience. So all in all a tip top show! Mr Venue Director who next in the face 2 face room please?The only thing that could have made it better was to come out on top in the casino at the end of the night....Oh well you can't win them all!

Always have a great night at Alea, whether we are going for a meal at Marcos or a night out with friends in the casino. Aleas staff are always very polite and helpful. Attended numerous events there over the years which include New Year's Eve, wine tasting evenings and birthday party's. A truly great venue !!

I attended this event with my nephew having seen Matt at Both Caesars Palace and London Palladium, this event was on par with Vegas due to its intimate nature. This was a fabulous event, well organised and the Alea staff all the way from Managing director to bar staff and reception were attentitive friendly and helpful and I cannot praise the event highly enough. I will be attending other live events in the future. The 3 course dinner was excellent value for money and a very enjoyable night was had by all. Well done Alea Nicola Woolliss

We went to watch Matt Goss perform in the Face to Face suite at Alea last Thursday evening. From the minute we arrived, we were looked after by all the staff who were on hand. We sat down to a delicious three course dinner, which was well presented and the service was faultless. All staff were very friendly and most helpful at all times. The room was dressed with flair and elegance, we could of been at Ceasar's Palace in Vegas! We had one of the best nights out in Nottingham, in a long time. Matt Goss was an incredible performer and a gentleman throughout. A big thanks to Mark and Jayney, they both made sure that all the guests were happy and looked after throughout the whole night. My husband and I went to Alea last Thursday night for a night with Matt Goss. From the minute we arrived, we were greeted by a lovely lady who led us straight to the Face to Face room, where Matt Goss was performing. We were so impressed with the three course menu, the food was delicious and the service was faultless. The room was dressed with such flair, we could of been at Ceasar's Palace, Las Vegas!! It looked stunning. The performance of Mr Goss was incredible, he is a true gentleman and an amazing performer. Alea was the perfect venue for such an intimate, highly-anticipated memorable evening. The staff were fantastic, the food delicious and nothing was too much trouble. We have been to another event at Alea before and it was the same then. I can't fault it or recommend it highly enough. We have a cocktail masterclass waiting for us and know it will be a wonderful evening. A special mention must go to the management who are discrete, polite, professional and add a high degree of class to the overall ambience.

If I was able to put more than 5 stars on this rating, then I would. I was lucky enough to get tickets to see Matt Goss at Alea, along with only 99 others! The setting was intimate and Matt Goss was absolutely superb - forget Bros or any preconceptions you may have - he is one of the best performers, entertainers and singers that I have had the chance to see and a really nice bloke too! His interaction with the audience was wonderful - you can see why he is doing so well in Vegas. Anyway, I could wax lyrical about Matt Goss all day but this review is really about the venue. Alea is one of Nottingham's premier entertainment venues. Don't be put off if you're not a gambler - there is plenty more to do - eating, drinking, entertainment, socialising. The Matt Goss event was in the Face to Face Suite, which was the perfect size for the evening. Everything about Alea is polished and professional - the staff, the food, the atmosphere, all first class. Our three-course meal was absolutely delicious and served in a very timely manner by courteous and friendly staff. This event really showed off how good the team at Alea is at putting on a great show and hosting an excellent event. Thanks to Mark and the team for an unforgettable evening - we will be back!!

Me and my friend had the most amazing night ever!The setting was 1st class and the food was also of a high standard.My friend and I have both said that we will never be able to top last night, unless we go to Vegas.The Face to Face Suite provided an excellent environment for a more personal experience with the man himself.All the Alea staff were very friendly and helpful. I can't wait to have a reason to visit you all at Alea again!Thank you so much for the most wonderful night out ever!

event was brilliantly planned and staff were very courteous and would bend over backwards to ensure my needs were met. food was delicious and hot too!! look forward to future 'nights with..' events

We visited here after having a lovely meal in the MPW Steakhouse Bar & Grill. My partner received £5 worth of chips for the roulette table which was part of the meal deal that we had in the restaurant. He took part in a poker tournament, overall he enjoyed his birthday having the meal and then having a go at poker. Highly recommend it for a special occasion if you are looking for something different to do.

My friends and I had a fantastic time celebrating New Year's Eve at Alea Casino. The food was nice, the band was great and the DJ excellent. We was worried the night may drag but it didn't at all and it was varied throughout. Even if you are not a big gambler like me, it doesn't matter as there was the hidden bar with DJ and the fabulous photo booth.We really did have the best time. The only small criticsm was the food took a while to come out and clear away but it didn't bother us as we just chatted within the group
