因为没时间了,所以我们跳过波尔图直接去了杜罗山谷/皮尼昂。完完全全爱上那儿了:引人入胜的景观和壮观的港口,迷人的村庄和友好的当地居民!

My husband and I are currently visiting the Douro, we have found it beautiful incredible landscapes....breathtaking views etc etc... Be warned the Douro region is very pricey to eat and drink be prepared to pay for a 2 course meal with good wine between €60 and €90. We have found that most of prices are very similar in some places to London.

I have been living in Europe for over a year and generally enjoy a good tour and have been on a number of them. This Douro Valley Small-Group Tour was undoubtedly the most enjoyable. The Viator tour consisted of my husband, three daughters (in their early twenties) and myself. We were picked up at our hotel by our two guides, José Pedro David (Ze) and Pepe Anibal Rocha Rodrigues (Pedro). It actually did feel as if two close friends had joined us to share a day in the Douro Valley … The tour was informative but also conversational and full of laughter. Ze and Pedro were improvisational guides who showed us a wide range of life in a more traditional Portugal from the production of olive oil (as introduced by the Romans) to a delicious lunch in a village square, to an award winning winery that is still family-run and has been so for over three generations. We toured the vineyard lined with olive and orange trees to enhance the flavor of the grape. It has been said that Portugal never abandoned organic farming … and the sights and tastes of this tour underscored that. We finished a wonderful day having (more) wine as well as appetizers in a home that was built early in the 19th century century adjacent to the vinyard as well as the family chapel. An incredible day that I wish to highly recommend to fellow travelers who are thinking of visiting this enchanting region of Portugal!

We chose Pipadouro for a river cruise because they have traditional boats historically used for transporting wine on this great river. Unfortunately,the day before our scheduled trip, the boat we were scheduled to ride on broke down and we couldn't alter our schedule. Cristina Malheiro Dias, Pipadouro's tireless connection worked magic and obtained a modest powerboat so we could enjoy the river--albeit with a substitute boat. September 12, 2013 - My girlfriends and I spent a magical day in the Douro valley, one of our most memorable days from our recent travels that have included Tuscany, Provence and California. We boarded the charming and comfortable Pipadouro river boat in Pinhao, and headed downriver among spectacular views of the Douro river and the surrounding terraced hills covered in vines. Antonio, our captain, and Clara, were kind and welcoming, and we were treated to excellent wine, cheese and ham. We disembarked at the Quinta de Crasto, and traveled to the estate,located uphill, in a small truck. Lovely Andrea and Susanna, both extremely fluent in English, greeted us warmly and took us into their care for the rest of our visit. We toured the property, stopping to dip our toes in the infinity pool, admire the views, taste the near harvest-ready grapes, and go through the fermentation room. We later settled on a terrace with beautiful overlooks to the river, and savored an excellent, traditional Portuguese meal of sopa verde, cod, potatoes, cheese, flan and berries, perfectly paired with Crasto white, reds and port. We lingered, chatting about Portugal, its music, food and wine. When it was time to leave, we boarded the Pipadouro again, and Antonio treated us to a lengthy cruise back on the river. We could not have dreamed a better day. Everyone from beginning to end was absolutely delightful and kind, and nature did the rest.

This was the trip of a lifetime. We started in Porto and travelled through the Douro. We stopped at Pousada's, that are hotels that are renovated castles, estates, monasteries, wineries, and more. We visited tasting rooms at wineries. We had fabulous foodie restaurant experiences. Wonderful sites and cities throughout this charming area. We spent over two weeks in the area and were never bored.

We did a day trip from Porto to the Drouro Valley including wine tasting, also a boat trip at Pinhao on a traditional boat they historically used for transporting the barrels of wine. You will find this tour by searching on Viator. Our driver picked us up from our Hotel and dropped us off at the end of the day (about 9 hours). The views are amazing with the terraced vineyards and are a photographers paradise. The roads are quite windy however well worth it. We have visited Tuscany and my husband and I both agree it rivals it with its beauty and stunning landscape - particular the river winding through the valley. Well worth checking out - you certainly would not be disappointed.

We rented a lovely house on the river outside Ancede. While there were no problems with the house, it was located over an hour's drive on narrow, winding roads to Regua and we were so exhausted by the time we got there, we didn't want to go on to Pinhao. The drive looked much shorter but we didn't take the roads into account. We wound up using the days as a nice rest stop but didn't visit any wineries.

I have been to various parts of the world, but have never been to the Duoro Valley until two weeks ago.I'm back here in New Jersey, but have already started day dreaming about this place. I could not think of any wine producing region - be it Tuscany, Bordeux or Mendoza - that is more beautiful or picturesque than the Duoro Valley. The quintas, chappels, and small quaint towns like Pinhao and Regua help to provide a special charm to the vally's landscape. More important, the courtesy, friendliness, and welcoming nature of the local residents serve to enhance the overall appeal of this place.Just one phrase comes to mind to describe it: unparalleled

What can I say, from where should I start.... the DOURO is simply the most beautiful wine region in the world! I get there every single year and I keep driving in the same roads, stoping in the same places, taking the same pics... I guess everybody has to like those landscapes, but if you're a wine lover this is just unbelievably beautiful: all this hard work to build terraces in stone, to plant vineyards, to pick the grapes during the harvest... makes it even more impressive. A few years ago this was very isolated and not very well-known (apart for the PORT WINE) but now there is now some very good places to eat and to stay, the offer is very interesting.

We used "Pipadouro" for a boat trip of 2 hours along the Douro river and loved it. A small vintage boat, wine on board, good english speaking guide and the breath taking views. They will make customize your ride if you want to, we just hopped on board on a 2 hour trip, starting at Pinhão in front of the Vintage Hotel.We paid 30 euros per person and we were served some wine on board.We made reservations through email:info@pipadouro.pt

If you want breathtaking landscape, amazing colors, nice weather, delicious food, exquisite wine, warm people... come to Douro Valley and you will be overwhelmed with so much beauty and tradition.Quinta do portal is an excellent choice to stay and eat. We have been there at the beginning of Summer and it was fantastic. Cherry trees loaded with red sweet delicious cherries at the reach of your hand! Douro Valley is very close to paradise!

Saramago has told about the heavenly beauties.It's the karma for the lovers nature.The Pictures do not do it justice. It is really very nice and the views are magnificent.One trip in train and boat give us landscapes fabulous. The houses in rock /stone garnitic and rustic villages transfers us some centuries ago.We also drove through the moutain villages and just enjoyed it.

I have spent some of my holidays near Mesão Frio, a lovely village not far from Régua, during the nineties and i always felt i needed to come back. But the best area of Douro for me is the one that grows from the Pinhão village till the border, crossing the area of DOURO INTERNATIONAL, with its cliffs and natural and wild life. Pinhão is very special... The river and its margins get even more beautifull.Of course the wine is to taste and to buy. You can do it in Pinhão village.

Douro is unique. It's incredible. It's impressive how a the vineyards, done by men, are so linked to the paysage.
