I love to go there for the view and for the restaurant. You can reach the restaurant by car and park in their parking area or, much more fun, take the glass enclosed vehicle that will take you there from sea level and enjoy the view of the ocean as you ascend. Unless you go on the week end it is not very crowded and there are several paths to walk around once you reach the Monte.

We visited in December. Our walking route from the town centre (about 1 hour) along the Avenida from Orzán beach, took us past the Millennium Spire and some interesting sculptures, including an octopus. To get to the Park we took the Ascensor Panoramico (going up at quarter to and quarter past the hour, coming back down on the hour and half past) €3 per person one way, €1.50 concessions, paying the attendant on board, but closed on Mondays. At the top station is a café and one of the children’s playgrounds. We wandered along the paths between the well-kept lawns and flower beds. The views of both bays are spectacular. There are impressive artillery pieces, a duck pond and a labyrinth. This out of the way attraction is well worth a visit.

This hill offers quite a lot of nice things - there is a park with nice walking paths, some artillery stuff on the top, a nice little restaurant and a funicular that seems like a spaceship :) The view is breathtaking.

Fantastic! A must see. Beautiful park which was once a military battery (Franco). Manicured lawns with amazing coast views including the whole of La Coruña, The Tower of Hercules and the rocky coastal outcrops. The huge guns remain with associated buildings but the signs are in Spanish with no translations. Still lovely to see! Hedge maze and play ground. Free parking near the top and a cafe with great sheltered views and very fresh pastries. It's worth the well signposted drive through the huge blocks of flats, which are actually interesting in their own right.

We got a local bus as far up as it would take us then walked the rest of the way to the top of the hill. The park is very well maintained with stunning views in all directions. There is a restaurant near the top where we had a very reasonably priced coffee while looking out over the views of the city. We got the panoramic elevator down the hill then walked back into the city along the lovely promenade. A great way to spend a few hours!

This was a battery place with two big cannons still remaining. The park has free parking, The color of the grass and landscape contrasting with the blue sky and sea is impressive. The gardens are very well maintained. There are excellent views of La Coruña including Paseo Maritimi, Riazor, Faro de Hércules, Punta Herminia, old city and suburbs. The place has access by car or by funicular A nice place to walk and relax

Nice trip on the elevador (even if it's a little bit too expensive, 3 euros per trip) that brings you over the MOnte San Pedro where you can have a large view over the city and over the bay, very exciting!

Amazing views of A Coruna up on this park. Interesting with tanks and shells in the park. Lots of green areas to sit and take in the views of the sea and city. Got the number 6/6A from Hercules Tower to below the park. The walk is a tough climb so be prepared. Worth it though when you get there. Nice cafe/restaurant up there too. lovely maze for kids to get lost in too. Worth a visit.

There is not much to do in La Coruña. I went to this place as it was recommended on Tripadvisor.I was very disappointed, as I walked from Riazor area, got the elevator (3 euros) and there are good viws of the city. However, you can find amazing views in La Coruña from another areas with amazing views (Oleiros area, the cliffs are amazing, also in Ferrol, you have spectacular cliffs)Also, i went to the restorant as it was the only one at this park. I asked for the wine list,, (this restorant was awarded and certificate by spanish tourims office,(michelin and Spanish quality certification), there was no wine list, no tapas included as the rest of restorants in Spain,Overall, I´d advice you to go to another areas close by, with spectacular cliffs and views as Oleiro and Ferrol area.
